Chosen Solution Hi. My wife put her iphone 5s in the washing machine with a lifeproof skin that had a leak in it. Afterwards she tried to turn it on (which she of course shouldn’t have). It didn’t startup and got heated. After like three days I had aquired the right tools and opened it up so it had a chance to dry up. Since I dont have a clue what parts are working and not I wonder if I can test different parts without have to close the lid and to only put as few parts in as possible....

Chosen Solution I have recently wished to install a NORMAL GNU/Linux distro (Debian specifically) on my Android T230. I booted TWRP, opened the terminal and erased /dev/block/mmcblk0. I created a new MBR/Partition Table, and new partition, of type ext4. There, I pushed Debian files, using adb. I installed them on that partition. Then I set up GRUB (arm-uboot), and installed it in the MBR. I rebooted the system, but it did not boot normally, recovery nor odin mode....

Chosen Solution Hello Is anyone else suffering issues with the new iPhone 6 screens. I have had a couple now where the glue appears to be failing and the glass and LCD are coming away from the frame. Chosen Solution I hope the image is more useful. But as you can see there is some left over residue on the strip will that affect the repair of the phone in anyway? The answer in short is no. The residue as you describe is from Kapton tape and is often used in cell phones and is completely safe as it is non conductive and is mostly used to protect from heat or a safe alternative to thicker tapes on electronics....

Chosen Solution I want to ask why my gpu is not being shown in taskbar. SO here is what I did. i normally go to device manager and disable gpu after I play some game so that temps drop down. after I played a game I went to device manager and disable the gpu but after doing it my screen went blue and i got an error. <Now it boots on intel HD and gtx 1070 is not to be found anywhere....

Chosen Solution Tablet is about 1 month old. I use it only to play games and watch movies . I watch movies by connecting the tablet to my television with an HDMI to mini-HDMI cord which is also less than a month old. While the HDMI cord is connected, the tablet is not moved until I disconnect the cord. I tried to watch a movie yesterday using the same method and the tablet nor television recognize the connection and when I click on the HDMI configuration, the video resolution setting is greyed out… When last used a few days ago, there were no problems....

Chosen Solution How do your fix/ replace heart rate sensor? Half the time it will flash the blinking heart but never read and the light on the inside of the watch itself no longer lights up. The Apple logo is centered on the SE 2020, but is further up on the iPhone 8. The model number engraved in the SIM card slot will tell you which is which. Chosen Solution Hello - I took apart my iPhone 6 last night and swapped out the battery. I’ve worked on the 4s and 5 before without issues, but this one was a little tougher. I believe I damaged the digitizer when assembling the phone. When I type on my keyboard, my email app randomly opens (app located on home screen FYI). I also notice sometimes when I try to unlock my device the touch screen doesn’t work unless I lock and unlock again....

Chosen Solution This is my son’s mac. He dropped it and told me it worked fine right after. He powered it off and the next day it wouldn’t boot. He gave it to me and I tried the install DVD which doesn’t see the hard disk drive. I removed the drive, plugged it into a SATA-to-USB and plugged that USB into my mac. I can see the drive just fine. I put it back in his mac, reseated the system board end of the cable, but the system wouldn’t boot from it....

Chosen Solution My son’s ps4 was overheating. It would make a loud noise and then power down. I followed one of your videos and took it apart cleaned everything. The heat sink was jammed packed with dust. I cleaned and replaced the thermal paste and put it back together. I plugged it in and it turned on and sounded like it was running really smooth.
