Chosen Solution I can use the trackpad to move the mouse arrow around. But when I click on the bottom part of the track pad nothing happens. Can I clean that or somehow fix this? Sometimes a bulged battery can affect the functionality of the click button. Remove and check the battery then try the click button with the battery removed. If this is not the problem you may have to replace the top case (about $35 on ebay)....

Chosen Solution Hello hopefully someone can help, I came off my bike a while ago with my Samsung galaxy s8 in my pocket it got destroyed, I recently stripped it down took all the valuable parts out because it was literally destroyed, it wouldn’t turn on the screen was obliterated, the logic board is still intact on the exterior and I would like to sell the parts but I still will have some stuff saved on the logic board and I don’t know if its all good inside I know this is probably a long shot but is there anyway I can wipe the memory with just the bare logic board and charging board because I have searched the Internet looking but no luck a sod yet hence this question....

The device is a Sony Mic Transmitter UTX-B2 but I could not find the washer by searching its name online. @teaouu that “washer” is actually a nut. Take it to a good hardware store and see if they can match it up. This will most likely be a metric thread. Otherwise, any good electronic repair or machine shop can most certainly help you out....
Chosen Solution my acer aspire 4830TG power on but still no display coming up ..blank …dead screen … Hi, With the laptop started, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and see if you can detect the ‘Windows desktop’ image showing. If you can, then there is a problem with the backlighting for the screen. It may be that the LID switch is faulty (this is a switch that ’turns’ off the screen when you close the lid), the video flex cable or the backlighting power supply (from the motherboard) If there is no image visible at all then try connecting an external monitor and see if there is a display showing on it....
Chosen Solution So apparently HP isn’t yet selling any sort of damage protection plan OR replacement screen. Day three of owning the HP Elite X3, it slid off my lap to the dirt and the supposedly “shatter resistant” screen shattered into a thousand shards. I think this should be considered a product defect and they should repair it for me, but they want to replace it for half the original cost....
Chosen Solution The keyboard used to pop up on the bottom of the screen pushing the rest of the screen contents above it. But it kind of poped out and separated itself from the rest of the screen, and I could move it around. I haven’t been able to figure out how that happened so I haven’t been able to solve it. It’s been very uncomfortable because this moving-around keyboard is much smaller, the keys are actually smaller than those on my phone....
