Chosen Solution My Nintendo Switch suddenly wouldn’t turn on or charge. Nothing on the screen, no reboot/reset trick I have tried worked. I often used a normal USB-C instead of the official charger, which might have damaged it. What do you think about it? Thanks for answering, Leon What you are seeing is a coating thats applied to the board at the end of the manufacturing process. It protects the board from moisture & corrosion.

Chosen Solution I have problem with my screen half of it is only a shadow and show only the upper one. I’d suspect a LCD failure but before buying a screen you could verify the LVDS (video) cable connection to the main board and to the LCD panel and if you have the Apple miniDVI to VGA/DVI adapter you could also connect the MB to an external monitor to check the GPU (graphic processor unit) but IMO you logic board should be good....

Chosen Solution I have been able to complete this task with no problems on other Mac minis of the same model, but I am perplexed by this. When removing the top left T6 screw that secures the fan and heat sink cowling to the logic - on left in this picture: https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig… - I was unable to lift the fan on its own until I disconnected the cowling from the logic board so that I could lift them both together....

Chosen Solution I was replacing the backlight diode and my soldering iron accidentally rubbed by the neighboring diode and took it off and I can’t find it anymore.
