Chosen Solution I recently bought a fully working iphone 6s for like 25$ with a cracked screen. I started dissassembling it, and i ripped one of the ribbon cables while opening it. The phone was a toy for me so i just didnt care, when i plugged it in the itunes started recognizing it. while i was thinking it was turned off i unplugged the screen and saw a spark. i think i fried something in the internals, because the itunes wont show the message anymore....

Chosen Solution I have 2 old pc I just took out from the store which was it’s insides are full of dust. Did a minor brushing and blowing to get rid of some dust. Problems: Window xp doesn’t boot after logo, monitor will show “ no signal” Sometimes it boots but has weird video glitches, or stuck while loading up some programs Tried several fix: Booting Puppy Linux from USB worked constantly, however Problem#2 persists....

Chosen Solution Hello i have this old EMC 2555 logic board from an macbook pro 13’’ . I’ve tried to look at it to spot anything obvious, but i can’t seem to find anything. it won’t power on, when i plug the DC in, the magsafe flashes between a dim green and orange light and thats it. the power indicator is none responsive, even with a charge on the battery - it is completely dead....

Chosen Solution Exactly every 4 seconds my screen switches from normal to repeating the top bar all the way down the screen for 4 seconds and then goes back to normal and repeats. Update (03/16/2020) To summarize for any future readers, the issue was only with the built-in monitor, external monitors worked fine, and the issue persisted in the BIOS menu, most likely indicating a hardware issue. There was no visible damage to the motherboard or the wiring to the screen....

Chosen Solution I have a pioneer deck I hooked up into my Pontiac sunfire, the stereo turns on but no sound threw the speakers. The only wire that isn’t hooked up from the deck is a blue wire with white stripe. And when I touch the blue wire to the ground wire it will play sound for a split second. Then stop. I’m not sure what’s going on . Every time I touch it it plays for a quick second....

To run the newer versions of MacOS this system supports you’ll need to upgrade the systems firmware as outlined Sorry I don’t that much on the cheese grater Mac Pro for part options. Chosen Solution Hey guys, does anyone know how hard it is to fully disassemble all parts from the unibody case? I am asking because I want to try to anodize the case in a nicer color than grey ;) Anyone who tried that already? Are there maybe glued parts which cannot easily be assembled back? Thanks for help! Sebastian It is not hard but it is tedious. You must have a properly grounded static pad and do not get too aggressive it taking it apart because some of the cable ends are easy to break....

Chosen Solution How to fix color lines acrossed my Vizio TV screen @katiez horizontal lines are commonly casued by a bad panel. Depending on the exact look of thos elines etc. it could be a mainboard issue or a cable issue. You will need to let us know the exact model of your TV and let us see what your TVdispalys. Chosen Solution I have a one and a half year old 13" MacBook Pro with the 2.26Ghz processor that just last night stopped recognizing the hard drive. It worked before dinner for my wife and when she returned to it after dinner, it was powered down. Upon powering it on, at the gray screen the folder alerting it could not see a boot device appeared. I opened the case to pull the hard drive figuring it was a complete hard drive failure however after connecting to a spare Linux machine I was able to dump the contents of the entire drive and SMART shows no errors....

Chosen Solution I’ve seen this before but don’t remember the problem. I ran an older version of tech Tool Pro and the artifact ( square and looks like multiple lines of the same bar code). The artifact was present on the mouse pointer icon with Tech Tools ruling out a software problem. The rest of the screen looks just fine. To me this indicates a video card failure but I think it’s built into the logic board on this machine....

You did a restore back to some time I suspect not a complete restore so this has not been working for a while or it is not your settings....

Chosen Solution My hard drive is being replaced and I do not have an OS disk for my Asus. Is it the same thing as a System Reciovery disk? If not, how do I get the OS? Asus will not send me one. I have an iPad Pro 9.7” and, after getting my replacement screen back off, discovered that there’s a bit on super glue on one of the Display Connectors and I was wondering if there’s any way to fix this. Thanks! Can’t really see much from the picture but sure it can be fixed. If the superglue prevents the connector to be put correctly in place you can gently scrape it away with some fine tweezers and patience, it’s a tough glue but it’s stiff and it breaks into small crystals when correct pressure is applied....

Chosen Solution I’m miffed on this one. The other day, I plugged in an external HD TV to watch a DVD. When I woke up the laptop (still connected to the TV) the next day, the laptop’s display was black (but the backlight was on!) I’ve tried clicking “mirror” and selecting different resolutions to “wake up” the video card an get it to do something, but nothing worked. I restarted it without the external monitor plugged in, and same thing - black....

Chosen Solution My dishwasher seems to function normally. The dishes seem clean, but the water from the last cycle remains in after it has stopped. The water is clear. I have read the manual and reset the system several times. When I press the cancel button to flush out the remaining water in the morning, you can hear the water being pumped out, and it sounds like the pump is working well....
