Inserting the power cable, you can hear a whine from the power supply as it powers up for about 10 seconds before that is replaced with a higher pitched whine from then on. Chosen Solution Why does every SD card I put in says write protect on when the card is not,it does this even when its a brand new card. h1313e23, Your GE manual tells you to use, recognized manufacturers such as San Disk,Panasonic and Toshiba SD card are recommended for your A730. Try these cards to see if problem corrects. I believe pg.63 in manual, also talk of some kind of protect/unprotected setting that may have something to do with it....
