Chosen Solution Hi, my about 7 years old Kenmore Elite 41022900 makes a thumping/knocking noise during spin cycle even on empty drum, just like in video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFs8tEzA…. But it does it only briefly and I think twice. Seems like at the beginning and then close to the end. The second one seems to be much shorter. Please let me know if you have any specific suggestions on what the problem could be....

Chosen Solution So when it responds to pressing the power button at all, (it not always does) then it will chime, light up, go to Apple logo, progress bar about 1/3 of the way and shut down. I tried another known good battery which helped it boot up instead of just acting dead. It has a light on the mag. It does not respond to SMC reset, it will just boot 1/3 of the way…It does not comply with PRAM reset, ignores it, same with Com/S etc ....

Chosen Solution Hi, when i Power my laptop on this error comes out Hard drive error (3FO) I replaced a new one HDD but still not getting off. Changed RAM Also. Then brought to Repairing shop they are saying to me It has failed MotherBoard. So what are you guys thinking of it? Should i change it? Help me!! Zeb Tech that error message does not sound like a motherboard issue, but sometimes it is the SATA controller on the motherboard that may have failed....

Chosen Solution It automatically factory reset and deleted all my photos. First, do not use the computer. It is possible to recover data using tools like Winternals Disk Commander or similar to scan for lost partitions and files. The space that the lost files are in are marked as unused space and that will let applications and other files to write over those lost files. The recovery tool should be setup on a USB thumb drive and used to boot the computer, the recovery tool should be able to scan and find the files and save them to USB or other storage device but not the hard drive....

Chosen Solution Hi, in removing my cracked screen to replace it, I tore the home button’s cable. Often people confuse the cable that is fixed to the back of the metal plate with the home button capable, which is attached to the home button itself and not the plate. Incidentally I tore both, but the the metal plate and its capable I replaced already so that part is fine. The home button itself works as far as I know in that I didn’t damage it....

Chosen Solution A friend bought a used iPhone 8 plus. The screen had a line running down it and the home button was “sticking" and would click randomly. While replacing the screen I noticed that the taptic engine was the wrong size. It turns out it was from an iPhone 8! I ordered a new one from AliExpress and installed it thinking that was causing the issues. Unfortunately it’s still happening....

Chosen Solution I replaced my screen successfully and kept the same home button. All worked fine when testing before I physically popped the display back into the back frame, but when I did that the home button stopped working completely. No Touch ID and it doesn’t respond to touch. I think I must’ve broken or knocked a part when reseating the screen. I’ve taken the button apart again and reseated the connectors but had no luck....

Chosen Solution I know there’s a way to silence the startup chime. If you’re knowledgeable and familiar with TERMINAL. As a test I deliberately gave it something to beep at for an error. No memory got a beep but the three lights stayed lit. The USB ports weren’t polled (I’ve a Flash Drive with a red LED to indicate use. No keyboard, no error response. Seems to point to a bad display subsystem....

Chosen Solution So I dropped my iPhone 8 Plus into the pool whilst playing music and I immediately took it out and the phone turned off, it didnt turn on after the drop. I dried it and took it to a shop to get it cleaned up and they replaced the screen. They also mentioned that the water has damaged the logic board which caused the internal speaker to stop working....

I would start by taking the lower front panel off. There are two bolts, one on each side of the panel, remove those. Once you have the panel removed, you will see a white plastic unit, that is your pump assembly....

Chosen Solution How do I apply power (12VDC) to the 3-pin connector? The wires are brown, black and gray. Dennis Koca, the fan is PWM controlled so that the grey wire is used to control the fan speed. The voltage to the brown wire should always be at 12v (+) and Black wire is the ground (-).

Chosen Solution I’m going away on a school trip for a week starting tomorrow and I decided that I wanted to fix my ipod so that it works in both ears. It opened really easily since the packaging has alway’s been quite loose and I removed the battery and headphone jack and then put them back into place (I’m pretty sure the reason one ear hadn’t been working is because the jack had lost it’s screw and was slightly loose)....

Chosen Solution my GE refrigerator’s water from the defrost cycle I think is leaking thru the screw that holds the base of the rack because between the rack base it can be seen the rusty water and deposits under the baskets at the floor(inside of the unit). Chosen Solution hey i was trying to fix the charging port port from an iPad mini 1 so i tried to desolder the charging port from the logic port and some plastic of the charging port stayed at the pads from charging port i was trying to clean it but 2 pads (the pads for data - +) broke up.. i search the pcb for ipad and i saw that they was under a tiny component that is so difficult to desolder and make jumpers… what can i do pleeasse help me Update (10/25/2017) those pads...

Chosen Solution HIi everyone! i have this issue and cant fix it. Battery percentage not increasing while charging but if restart the phone it shows correct. Lets say 85% plugged in but if i unplug it shows 81%. Plug it again 85%. Ant another issue sometimes it shows blue screen and restarts by it self after that Hi There is a chip inside called (U2) it’s responsible for everything about charging , also the blue screen of death , find a good service provider or fixer and change your phone U2 ic and everything will back ok ....

Chosen Solution Today I replaced in my iMac EMC 2390 my 3.5 HD for a samsung 850 EVO SSD. Now I have some white pixels turning on and off almost like snow, random. And some now and then there is a partial screen twitch horizontal. What did I do wrong, I follow the guild to the letter. Who can give me some advise? Chosen Solution Hi, I got an iMac from my uncle who tried upgrading to an ssd and broke the display connector while doing so. I cant get an external monitor to work and i am trying to install high sierra with my macbook onto the ssd and then hope that i can maybe get a picture onto the monitor. When turning on, the fans spin normally without any loud noises and i can hear the boot chime....

Neighbor says it is not the fuel pump. Car starts again after it cools. Kristina Clean your throttlebody, sounds like as long as the engine is cold, the computer controls a little extra air into the engine and it runs good, as soon as the engine warms up, the idle controller no longer is bypassing air and the engine stalls....
