Chosen Solution Bought an Xbox one on ebay advertised as having E101/E102. Displays E102, then after either the offline update or the factory reset USB it displays E101. Upon restart it goes back to E102. I’ve tried both of the tools, but every time it says something went wrong. The first time I tried the the update tool it hung at 5%, so I shut it down and retried. Then it would immediately say something went wrong....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have bought an iphone 6 logic board which had iphone error 40. I removed the nand and tested it with ipboxv2 and it says Unrecognized Nand_Flash.. So I think that the nand is faulty as iv only seen this error before on bad nands. The problem I have now is I can replace the nand, as I have plenty spare and do it countless times on ipads, but I dont know the serial number, so if I write a new serial number to a new nand it wont activate ?...

Hi @btjc Don’t know the washer but looking at the mini manual (i.e. tech sheet) in Field Service Mode Test #8 it mentions testing the fabric softener dispenser by operating a valve. Perhaps the valve is faulty - vibrating. The only “valve” mentioned in the parts list is known as the hot water valve - part #WH23X29538 shown as part #140 Controls and dispenser diagram, so I’m not sure if this is it or not, but it looks more than just a single “hot water” valve as it seems as though there are 4 solenoid coils in the assembly....

In System Profiler, Isight is not listed as one of the devices connected to the USB bus. I think the hardware has died. I d like to know the way to replace it by myself. I had a yellow blinking light error (forgot how many) but I unplugged the cmos battery and that fixed the light. the light is now blue but so far I haven’t been able to flash the bios with a usb. Ok, if nothing appears on your screen then you can say goodbye to your motherboard, but there are some limit solutions, the first one is to replace the BIOS chip with a new one, second is to find a professional that can re-flash your chip using special devices....
Chosen Solution I want to change the 5400 rpm 1 TB HDD on my laptop to an SSD. The official manuals aren’t very detailed and don’t say if you can or can’t. Though websites like crucial.com say I can. Laptops use a 2.5” SATA drive so replacing the HDD for a SSD only requires a drive swap out with another 2.5” SSD. The bigger issue will be installing a fresh copy of the OS and migrating your apps and stuff over....

Chosen Solution I ripped out the 3 fan cables and was wondering how I could fix them. The easiest solution is to buy a new fan(Here’s one from iFixit). Remember to be careful when removing the fan and to pull on the fan connector, not the fan cables. If the fan connector is not coming off, use a pair of pliers to pull it off.
