Chosen Solution The USB 3.0 port on the right side of this unit doesn’t appear to be working. Plugged a Logitech Unifying transitter, which was not recognized. Tried a USB external Hard Drive to no avail. Same with two different external USB DVD drives. All of these devices work on the USB port off the left side of the unit. I dont think there is any power. I tried reseting the SMC and NVRAM, but those fixes didn’t work....

Chosen Solution I can use iphone for a few minutes. Then when I inlock it I need to restart it, sometimes. Otherwise the screen won’t respond. The problem only appeared after a screen change. How do I solve it? Thanks Try reseating the connectors in place again, maybe they are slightly misplaced. Don’t forget to disconnect the battery before removing the screen. If that doesn’t help you might have a glitchy screen....

Chosen Solution Does the circuit board have to be replaced if the direction button is not working or can it be fixed?. It is only when it is pressed upwards all other directions seem to be working ok. The case has not been changed its the original. The rubber underneath the directional button needs replaced or the motherboard needs cleaned where the rubber piece makes contact. You will need a triwing screwdriver to take it apart....

Reset it by pressing the keys HEATED DRY - NORMAL - HEATED DRY - then NORMAL again in sequence within 5 seconds. All the lights should come on and it will begin a diagnostic cycle. Either let it run, or press cancel and the board will be reset so you can try a wash again....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, the hinge of my early 2015 MBP is breaking at the left side because its loose and you can “wobble” the display around for like 3 cm front to back, i found a repair guide that “would suit” my problem but i wanted to ask where i can get the screen hinge without the screen or is there no possibility? Why i ask this here is because i hope there will be maybe some others with my problem who could tell me how the hinge is working or how its build because then i can maybe fix this for myself, the problem is there is no image of the 2015 hinge, just 2010 to 2014… why?...

Chosen Solution Driver side window gets stuck on the way down in my 2001 S40. I have to help by pushing it down. Once i push a little it does the rest by itself, but when i press it to go back up its gets stuck and i have to pull it up a little until the motor kicks in. Chosen Solution I replaced the hard drive in my iMac for the 2nd time and forgot to take the EMI strip off the old one. Is this piece really necessary? I’m more concerned with breaking something if I open it up again than the actual time it takes, so I’d rather leave it as is unless having that EMI tape is a must. dont worry about it, you should be fine....
