Chosen Solution Since I replaced the broken hard disk, my iPod is locked and shows the padlock icon on the screen. It works connected on the computer and the car adapter, but obviously the clik wheel doesn’t responds. I’ve tried all the common recomendations -reboot, restore, upgrade firmware- and nothing happens. I replaced the headphone jack cable -which had broken when changed the disk- and today I tried to fix it changing the headphone jack and headphone jack bracket....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’ve got a weird issue after a screen replacement: my home button doesn’t work even if Touch ID does. I tried to install a replacement home button but the problem wasn’t solved (and obviously the replacement button did not support Touch ID). What could be the problem? I thought about the flex cable that connects the button to the motherboard but if that was the problem even Touch ID should not work....

Chosen Solution We bought a brand new Samsung 65 in tv 3 days ago. Set up was easy, but it stopped connecting to the WiFi and all of a sudden horizontal lines appeared on the tv. Since it is only 3 days old contact the retailer about a replacement and if they won’t help, consult the warranty statement that came with the TV as to what to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty replacement....

Chosen Solution Okay I was trying to plug in my earbuds without looking and I shoved it in the charging hole instead of the earbuds one and it wasn’t until my laptop was about to die that I realized the charger wasn’t going in, it can’t even go half ways! I don’t know what I did but it would really help me out if you guys got back to me ASAP...

Chosen Solution Replaced the digitizer on an iPad A1458, but couldn’t turn it off first, as the display wasn’t responding at the “Slide to power off” screen. The LCD seemed fine before I replaced the digitizer. Now it’s dead, even though the bell sounds when I connect the iPad to a laptop, and it shows up in iTunes. Not my first iPad repair, so I don’t think I made any mistakes, besides not turning it off before taking it apart....

Chosen Solution i’m no idea how this sad happen .I never dropped my phone or into water. Today when i’m reading novel the white line suddenly popup slowly. After that i try restart the line still leaving….why …. seng, take iphone apart and try reseating the cables, this may fix the issue. Clothes are finished with a strong smell of detergent. I have to do a second rinse automatically. I checked the water hoses and water is coming in fine. Chosen Solution No sound for anything, except start-up chime. If I put in movie DVD, error message says no connection to speakers found. I would start by checking your system profiler and verifying that the built in audio is recognized, then go to your system preferences and open the sound app and try to click on the sound files to verify that they either play, or do not. If the sound plays I would suspect that you have a software issue and need to restore the disk, if the sound does not play I would be suspect of a hardware failure If you can, Run techtools and scan hardware /test the audio....

I had no idea fans in laptops have thermal paste. Didn’t replace but laptop is running way cooler and WAY more quiet. Great tool kit.
