Chosen Solution I have two MacBook pros 15 inch unibody, one of them has a screen that’s going bad and the other one has a failing GPU, I was wondering if I were to remove the logic board on the one with the failing screen and place it into the other Mac would it run properly or would I need to do some prerequisite steps? So I took the ssd out of it, and need some adapter to connect it via usb to another computer to transfer the files. Chosen Solution Hi, I see how to replace a hinge, but it doesn’t appear that the hinge is broken. It looks like the hinge broke off from the LCD screen. Chosen Solution How do I fix corrupt hard drive? Make sure your laptop is completely turned off. Turn the laptop upside down, and located the sliding tabs on the battery. Slide the tabs into an inward position then take out the battery away from the laptop. Remove the bottom cover by pull the orange tab to the right until you heard a click sound. Chosen Solution Hi, I am troubleshooting a power issue on my bacbook not booting, and to make it worse ended up shorting the 18.5v bus whole probing on the board. I looked up the F6905 fuse on the schematic but it seems to be under a black component which I am not sure how to remove (see picture un lower right section). Any ideas? Chosen Solution I recently tried repairing my iphone 7 but unfortunately i lost multiple screws forcing me to buy a new screw kit. The things is i don’t know where certain type of screws go for certain components. Any advice? Board shield screws are pretty easy, triwinged ones go on the battery/screen shield., with long one to the rightmost hole, you can’t mix them even if you want to. The two philips screws go up, keeping in place front and rear cameras shield....

You will likely just have to go slowly and use what is available. I would remove the mobo with this guide Dell Inspiron 15-3521 Motherboard Replacement then loosen hinge screws and slowly lift out screen. Since your screen is busted you shouldn’t have to worry too much about snagging the screen cables on disassembly....
