Chosen Solution So lately I’ve heard my computer speakers have a weird static sound. I happen to know why this is happening, I’m hearing the hard drive activity! For some reason it’s going through my system and coming out as static. Why and how can I stop it? Then I thought my TV HDMI port wasnt working, but I plugged in a chromecast, and that does work.. What can I do? What can I test? Chosen Solution When headphones are inserted into iMac headphone jack, not only do I still hear the built-in speakers but NO audio can be heard via the headphones. Have tried several different headphones all with the same results. Go to system preferences and click on Sound. Click on the output tab and choose line out. This should send audio only out of the headphone jack and not out of the speakers....

Chosen Solution got a few pins broken off an iphone 5s and i have an iphone 5c for parts. im wondering if i could desolder the connector off the 5c and solder it to the 5s. Jake, they are not compatible. The 5C uses a AA22LB-P 28 contact connector (14 on each side) and the 5S uses a BM15AP(0.8)-22DS-0.35V 22 connector (11 on each side). Chosen Solution I changed out the display. The unit will power up but does not respond to touch. You probably have a faulty digitizer. Power off the device recheck the connections and clear of any debris with canned air, just in case. If the digitizer still isn’t responding, you need to get a new screen. If this was a part purchased from iFixit I’d suggest contacting support@ifixit.com

Chosen Solution I dropped my portable external hard drive. Can I still recover all the files inside my external hard drive? Is this the ssd version or hard disc? If its the hard disc will it power up does it click? If it clicks you can make it work enough to recover data. You do want to check your computer with something like a Linux Live Cd and see if it can access your drive and play CD’s. If so, you know it is the operating system, if not then you know it is the drive....
Chosen Solution Honda Civic Hybrid 2003, Electric Power Starring Control Unit (EPS Unit ) is damaged, I replace it with an other one but its not working / Car Steering is still hard. Have you checked the fuse for the motor? I just read on line that it takes a 60-70 amp fuse (probably a fusable link somewhere under the hood ). If the motor really went out it could easily have taken the fuse with it....
