Chosen Solution Hi guys, I have an iPhone 6 was not turning on. After connecting to DCPS I noticed that PMIC heats up. I confirmed that PP3V0_NAND is shorted to ground and using alcohol method I confirmed that PMIC heats up first in that circuit. I removed PMIC expecting that I removed short to ground on PP3V0_NAND but it remained. When I inject voltage up to 3V none of the components heat up but my DCPS showscurrent consumptions....

Chosen Solution got a 1999 two door tahoe and the headlights do not work, but the bright lights work fine. i tried new bulbs, new fuses and even got a new control switch. what else can i do? and how? The lights are fused separately for high and low beam. The low beam fuse is 10 amp marked LO HDLP in the underhood fuse panel. This fuse is powered by the low beam relay....

It should get out of standby mode by turning it on. When an error occurs, the POWER/STANDBY or LAMP LED will flash a set number of times to indicate the possible cause of the problem....

Chosen Solution I installed an iPhone 6 Plus LCD today and everything seemed to be functioning normally until I tried to set the phone up. The touch screen didn’t work. I tried reconnecting all of the cables multiple times but this didn’t yield any results. Could I have done something during the repair or is it a faulty cable? The cables are one of the most sensitive parts of the repair, but in my experience the edges of the LCD (especially the top edge) are very fragile....

Chosen Solution Was water damaged, has been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, but the left USB is not working and it is showing a dim green light (not charging), but battery is recognised. MacBook otherwise works fine. Have tried a test charging board, I/O cable and battery, still have the same issue. First unplug your system and any peripheral devices from the outlet. Get an outlet tester to check for faulty wiring of the outlet. Get an electrician to fix the outlet and check your breaker panel and your buildings grounding....

Chosen Solution I put a disk in and it says reading disk then it opens door will not play game rbutch59 sounds like a bad laser. You can either try and clean it or replace the Laser lens. Or you can just replace the whole drive, just remember that it is mated to the motherboard. I’d go with cleaning the lens first. Not a great video but it might just do

Chosen Solution Does the repairibility also apply for smaller models? 13" or 14"? Only the 15” was torn down for review. Often times the manufactures do leverage the same basic design within a few years of each size version. I would recommend you check other reviews before you buy.

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 7 plus that I recently repaired that the ear speaker works randomly and the front camera is very slow at coming up and/or sometimes doesn’t work in apps such as snapchat. This iPhone has been fixed previously and has been working fine. Now I’ve replaced the front camera and speaker with a known working original with the same results. I also uncovered another issue. The phone will get stuck on the Apple logo after rebooting and will only boot normally after I do a hard reset....

Generally speaking yes, someone into component level repairs would be able to solder a new connector in place.
