Chosen Solution Repair man dx’d a dead fan in the freezer compartment. Post replacement the fan ran quietly but temps did not properly adjust….freezer went deep freeze w/ double digit below zero, while refrigerator stubbornly remained in low 50’s. After 3 days the freezer fan began to “clatter”, which makes me suspect a sub-standard quality replacement. I have also heard about icing in the channel that carries the cold air from the freezer fan to the refrigerator, but my repair shop is professing ignorance....

Chosen Solution Peavey Valve King 100 doesn’t seem to be getting power…no power light or any kind/type of sound. Have checked power cord even tried different ones. Have checked electrical outlet, even tried different ones. Amp got turned over while playing, but wasn’t dropped. It did break input jack, but was still able to play through it. Chosen Solution I just replaced the logic board. The macine will only boot up on the battery, and there is no keyboard control, or back light. Can not charge machine with wall charger, even though I get a green light on the charger. I was thinking about the left I/O board, but don’t understand why the keyboard won’t funtion when its pluged into the logic board, and there is enough power on the logic board to boot the macine, and run the screen....

Chosen Solution the disk wont open on the computer? Start up holding the mouse button down. That failing, open the drive cover with your fingernail and use a straightened paperclip in the hole to the lower left of the drive tray. Insert the clip and firmly push, this should relaese the drive tray.

Chosen Solution I replaced my iPhone 4’s sticky home button following the instructions on this site. I’ve put everything back together and now the screen is inverted and garbled. What’s the likely cause? Did I damage the ribbon cable? Sadly You could have damaged the ribbon cable or flexed and ruined the LCD during removal, either way you will need a new LCD Digitizer .
