Chosen Solution The AUX slot broke off and I can’t get it out of the inside to try to braze it back. You have to remove the speaker protection, that it has the logo at center. After that, you will find 12 screw. Becauseof the material, its like a chep aluminum, you have to be careful to not to brake.

Chosen Solution I haven’t had this computer that long but lately it has not been running as quickly as it should. When I open a new program like itunes or Mircosoft it takes at least 5 minutes for it to load. Is there something I can do to make it run faster? I already tried closing other programs first and running antivirus software. I would recommend installing additional RAM. This is a relatively inexpensive way to speed up a slow computer and future-proof an already fast computer....

There is a month and a half left on my Applecare, but I’m leaving the country in a couple weeks. Chosen Solution Normal readings on Display should be “0” deg freezer and “37” deg refrig. lately my freezer is all over the place 4 to 24 degrees, never over 32, so I believe the freezer is working, and display is @ fault. Had Refrig for many years, and not doing anything different. Anyone have similar problems?? Chosen Solution I have replaced my screen in a straight swap with another iPad but the face ID is no longer working. Does this mean I have to pull off the old face ID wiring and add it to the new screen? Surely Apple has removed this hardware blocking by now, especially with new right-to-repair legislation? Definitely still have to move over any components from the original Face ID assembly to the new display....

Do I have to teardown the whole thing to replace the keyboard or is there a way to remove the toplid? Hi @gunjah292 , It appears as though the keyboard is part of the upper case and to get to it you have to come at it from underneath, which means that you will have to dis-assemble nearly all of the laptop....

Chosen Solution Where the lower mounting bolt mounts my starter to engine has stripped threads. Some people say to drill it, tap it, and use a heli coil. I dont know why just tapping the hole and using a bit bigger bolt wouldn’t be good enough. Would it be or not be good enough to mount the starter and why? I assume that they don’t suggest a bigger bolt because you might have to alter the starter housing itself, and drill a bigger hole in it to fit the bigger bolt....

Chosen Solution i have a 1995 Volvo 850 series, 2.4 non turbo. My fan is not running either, the relay block has two yellow connetors in the middle, I know these are what control the low and high fan speed. fan test ok for running but when I ground jump the two center relay connectors for the fan speed the fan will not run, acts like there is no power getting to the relay block....

Chosen Solution So I had the Touch IC issue, I don´t know if you can call it the Touch Disease since I didn´t get the grey lines up top. So I did the twist the phone thing, and worked for a second then didn´t work at all anymore…ever again. So I did the research and it turns since the logic board and case of the phone are bendable, the IC chip gets “unsold”, it lifts and doesn´t make a connection, therefore no touch....

Chosen Solution HI I have a Neff fridge freezer with ice maker K3962x0. When switch on from being stood it works for 20 or 30 mins then trips rcd if I switch the fridge temp down to 0 it stays on. Turn fridge temp up trips straight away Left on with freezer only for a while then turn fridge back on runs for 20 or 30 min then trips. Any ideas?...

Chosen Solution I get a gray screen asking me to hold down the start button in four different languages to restart the computer. You have akernel panic they can be either hardware or software related. If you added a new component disconnect it before rebooting. Restart your Mac with a Safe Boot and see if the kernel panic happens again. This is Apples advice about solving Kernel Panics. Here is a good place for DIY troubleshooting of Kernel Panics....

Chosen Solution Hi , i have this iphone 7 with half backlight issue , i replaced U3701 but it did not fix the issue , I have an O/L diode mode reading on pin 35 of J4502 , FL3902 on this line tests ok , I have removed U3701 and lines from pads A1 and B1 seem shorted together . I’m a bit stuck now .. Update (01/26/2021) Hi , the phone originally had no or very glitchy touch and had no 5 volts on pin 11 of J4502 , the components on that line seemed ok so I replaced U3703 it still didn’t fix the touch , still no 5 volts on pin 11 ....

Chosen Solution When I put the heat sink on only 3 screws went in. The fourth didn’t line up no matter what I tried. Also the RAM chips were tight fit not like my other board. I need to return this board. Looks like it might have been a heat sink from a slightly different model. We really need to know more about what you are doing, your exact model, if you bought a part where it came from and what part number it is....
