Chosen Solution I cut my catalytic converters off and my explorer still has no power now that you’ve cut the converter out what are you doing for a rear o2 sensor? if the cat was plugged then you loose power yes but not all the lost power is from a plugged converter . Without the converter your not getting the right info to the computer and the fuel mix will be off ....

The sound through the speaker and headphones is crackly at best and cuts out or is very very faint most of the time.
