I don’t have a working home button right now, and I used AssistiveTouch but it doesn’t appear on the Hello screen. I tried rebooting the device but still getting the Hello screen. I also tried using a Mac to get into accessibility settings but I keep getting the ”iPhone could not be activated, operation timed out” error in iTunes....

Chosen Solution I installed a replacement Hi-Res matte LCD display screen for my late 2007 17" MacBook Pro, and when it booted, the display showed the boot Apple logo, but it was larger than it normally is, and stretched. The screen would hang at that point, displaying some spurious pixels in the bottom area. I reinstalled the original display (which was fine except not bright enough), and it worked fine. The seller of the replacement screen suggested resetting the PRAM....

Chosen Solution I recently bought the Element Enigma Phone case for iPhone XR, the slightest thing that scrapes against it scratches the aluminum bezel. Is there any way to buff this out and fix the paint? @doctorsleepy if you are that attached to this expensive case I’d suggest an automotive body shop. You’ll be surprised what they can do. Should not cost you any more than the case itself but you can get it at least painted with paint that will not scratch easily off....

When observing the device during the restore at the start it attempts to boot the device to just before the part where the progress bar should come up (but doesn’t) whilst ‘Waiting For iPhone’ but instead just boots to the recovery mode screen where it breaks the connection....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone onto a tiled floor. Screen (repaired outside warranty) is intact. But the left side of the phone is black from top to bottom. The iPhone is still usable, but I suspect the LCD may be broken, as I can still press the back buttons (just can’t see them). It’s most likely a damaged screen. The only way to know for certain is to replace it with a good quality replacement screen....

Since you are saying that the heating element is “really hot “ but does not dry your clothes, you need to start checking the blower....
Chosen Solution So I was screwing back the screws into the side of my MBP A1150, and I accidentally stuck one of the screws into one of the screw holes on the side of the DVI port! I tried to unscrew it out, but that didnt work at all. The head is practically flushed with the case, so I doubt I can use a pair of pliers. Worst case solution…drill?...

Chosen Solution when i plug it in the apple logo show up but then a Dead ipod face show up wit www.apple.com/support/ipod few second after that “Please Wait Very low Battery” then reset to the apple logo again and the same happen over and over forever till the battery die! I’ve try connecting it to itune but nothing happen still doing the same thing. Tried to put it into diagnostic mode and disk mode but can get it out of that same cycle its doing....
