I am wondering if I have to remove the power supply, optical drive, etc. or if there is an easier fix. For the top right cover, you do not need to remove any components in order to take it off. To take it off there is one screw in the back, two screws which you will be able to see when you pop off the hard drive cover....

Chosen Solution I replaced the display on a 2009 unibody MacBook Pro. Wouldn’t turn on after. I’ve done many screen replacements and this one wasn’t any different. I don’t know what the issue could be. Currently the laptop chimes the fan turns on then shuts right off. With or without the power adapter plugged in. Have you tried booting it with the original screen? I have seen some weird issues with some new LCDs for this model, for example, where the picture will only display once it is in an OS, even though it was working fine with the original screen....

BUT I didn’t remove it using “safe to remove”, instead I just unplugged it. And now its not showing up in PC but it shows up on my laptop. Anyone know why? Need Help? Please. Chosen Solution I originally reviewed this machine with a few keys not functioning, one of those keys being ‘R’ so booting into recover mode hasn’t been an option. I originally opened this machine to clean the keyboard ribbon connector, I did that, then stripped the rest of the system down to fix a dent without causing harm to any components. I put the system back together and now it only boots to a grey screen....

Chosen Solution Hello, I am having an issue with my PS4 in which the HDMI port has become faulty and only works when downwards pressure is applied on the end of the cable (otherwise there is either no signal, pixels covering the screen, or just a black screen being outputted).
