Chosen Solution Chromebook cant hold a signal stronger than 25% unless right next to a router, and even then it will not go higher than 50% Only device afftected, always the same regardless of networks or routers. Been told its likely a hardware issue but I cant find a way to actually fix it. Ive seen how to take apart the chromebook but have nevet seen any replacement parts for components that deal with wifi....

It turns on and worked for a while. But, then just the other day the internal trackpad and mouse stopped working at the same time. A USB mouse and keyboard work. Chosen Solution My spacebar will consistently stick when being pressed. It does not do this every time it is pressed and will eventually unstick after being pressed several times. How can I prevent this from happening again? The possible cause for the spacebar to be sticking to the keyboard on the device could result of debris being stuck underneath of the key or being broken. Chosen Solution The GPU in my logic board went bad in my 2011 MacBook Pro 15 for the 2nd time (2nd logic board). So, I decided to purchase a new logic board and install it. The old logic board was a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM. The new board is a 2.4 Ghz Intel Quad-Core i7 and I put the existing RAM in the new logic board but I am wondering if I need different RAM since the machine will not boot up… Can anyone help me know if I need new RAM or if the old RAM should still work?...

Can I leave the screen protector or do I need to remove it first? You can leave it on. I prefer fingernails to open an iPhone 6 over suction cups—just get something under a bottom corner edge and then slide fingernails all the way around to pop that sucker open....

Chosen Solution Something weird with this DS I just repaired: the speakers seem fine when playing a game and navigating the menu, but the startup sound is high-pitched and just kinda crappy. Adding more to the strangeness, the startup sound is fine when I’m first setting up the DS, but it goes weird after that. What is going on here? (I have 2 DS Lites with the exact same problem)...

I was wondering if the spots are scrathes on the lens or I just need to clean a bit deeper and stronger into the camera? Although when i opened it, I saw a very tiny scratch in the shape of a circle on the lens, which could be the dark spot that appears on the photos… I can’t see anything else besides that one scratch, but on the photos there are a fee other dirty spots....

Chosen Solution Ok so when I turn on the laptop, the screen is black and there is no chime but I can hear the DVD drive and the Hard Drive spin up. I’ve heard of dead GPU problems in these laptops but Im not sure on how to fix it. Ive already tried an SMC reset and a PRAM reset but nothing happened. I also saw a video where they wrap the computer in a blanket, turned it on, then came back in an hour, let it cool down, then the computer started working so that might be something I can try because im not too sure on how to reflow properly....

The screen is shattered and it does not at all respond when plugged in…..but there seems to be no water damage and the frame appears perfect. i have a $200 quote for a new screen installed. what should I do? You will have to presume the phone will be iCloud locked. I would connect it to your pc or mac and see if it is recognised, you will probably need to put it into DFU or recovery mode if it has a passcode....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have GE DSHS6VGBBCSS, on the control display freezer is -9 and the fridge is 37, ice cream is melting on the freezer, fridge temp seems okay, I replaced the mother board, 2 thermoster on the freezer and the thermostat but did not fix the problem. Chosen Solution I have been looking on google like crazy on where I can buy these tiny little fuse’s that are solder on the logic board.. If you look at my pictures, or my avtar picture I have a picture of a logicboard and a red arrow pointing to the fuse I am talking about. its a small white fuse. I know for sure it’s blown, because when I took the logicboard out there was black marks on the rear vent and the fuse is black and brittle, and if you touch it some of it will fall away....

Chosen Solution About a month ago, I updated my hard drive for the second time, orgininaly swapping the 110GB HDD for a WD Black 320GB drive back in 2009. This time I swapped it for a Seagate Momentus XT 750GB Hybrid Drive, and did the same process as before, cloning the MacBooks current OS Drive and then installing the new one. I had about 3 weeks trouble free running, then, while I was in hospital for a couple of days it suddenly crashed on me using safari, and stopped responding....

Chosen Solution I was replacing my optical drive with a Samsung 870EVO SSD and in doing so pulled the cable away from the connector to the webcam. the connector is still embedded into the board. Could that be causing the error code? My Mac is running slow and the fan is on constantly. The track pad is a little jumpy.. I am also thinking maybe just the trackpad replaced? @srfrgrl77 the problem is most likely related to the Ts0P Palm Rest Temp sensor....

The specific problem appears to be that the rods on which the screen pivots, and which are held in place by the left and right hinges, are apparently too high now for the upper case to lay flat above the hinges....
