Chosen Solution My RAM is fine, but when it gets seated, very little time passes before the System decides I only have GB. Someone told me that I should replace my motherboard. Does this seem to be a probable solution? So to clarify your RAM socket lock clips are worn or the socket it’s self is distorted. While a new logic board might help lets see if we can save you a few bucks here....

Chosen Solution I went to get my phone fixed (screen and LCD replacement) and found out that the battery needed to be replaced as well. They changed out the battery but did not charge it at the store. The phone has now been charging for over an hour and it hasn’t turned on. The phone is recognizing that the charger is in the port because the cable icon disappears when it is plugged in, the red battery icon has been displayed for over an hour but nothing changes besides that....
Chosen Solution Hi all, When I start the tv the whole screen is green (with picture) and in a few minutes green fades and I get a pink(ish) color. I checked capacitors look fine and the voltages from the power board are all correct. Can it be an LCD driver board issue or is it the fault of the actual LCD panel or is is something else? Got all of that taken care of and put everything back together only to find that my home button is now not functioning. Everything else is working perfectly. There is spring to the button. Chosen Solution In the last few days my MacBook Pro (15") runs for about 10 or 15 mins then the entire screen gets jittery and freezes up solid with odd colors and patterns requiring me to force restart. I suspect a defective logic board ($599) and think I would like to attempt the repair. But I would like to be sure it is the logic board before I try. My work place has a bunch of oldish MBPs that I have been upgrading to SSDs (newly in the IT role here and also fairly new to IT in general). I have used CCC to clone the drives and then pop the clone in. Got through 3 of them and the latest one, after putting the drive in it and pressing alt to select the ssd to boot, realised this one doesn’t respond to any of the firmware passwords I have been given by the old IT guy....
Chosen Solution I have a MBA early 2015. It seems to work normally but battery discharges even when in sleep mode even when powered off completely (about 20% during the night). I took out the logic board and noticed this capacitor has blown. Can it be the main cause of the battery discharge? I do not have a heatgun now but I have a donor board, only little scared to work on otherwise working logic board....
