Chosen Solution I am about to deploy overseas and could really use the extra time the new battery offers. Has anyone installed the new battery and if so, did you net any additional life on the computer? Thie upgraded battery works in the 2009 model. This is because the connector is the same and the screw mounts are the same. The problem is finding it is not easy, since Apple does not make it easy to source parts without paying them to install them....

Chosen Solution I have a Noma brand heater model: AFH302OTW. I recently disassembled the housing to vacuum all the dust inside that had accumulated over many years. After I reassembled the housing, a problem occurred. The heater would run for a short period of time, then a spark would occur next to the heating coil and the unit shuts off on its own. The fan is working and there is heat from the heating coil before it shuts down....

Chosen Solution A device came across my desk with hot glue under the keys. My guess is that the user had attempted to replace the keys that had fallen off. How can I safely remove hot glue without damaging the key switches? My local repair company said they can attempt a repair and they do repair logic boards but if it’s unsuccessful they will charge £20 and £85 if it is.
