But now when I plug in the adapter to charge the current battery in the Gateway Laptop, the charge keeps dropping out and will not charge my current battery. Chosen Solution I need help determining if my Air is worth repairing. Rather suddenly my Air’s fan began to run at full speed (this starts 3/4 of the way through the boot sequence), processing speed is slower-though not crawling (kernel_task is rarely above 5% CPU), and occasionally the computer will not boot-though I can’t consistently replicate this. I’ve tried SMC and NVRAM resets multiple times with no change and booted in safe mode and got a PFM006 fault....

Is there a way to push the clutch back since it seems that the stress of whatever is pushing it out is causing it to crack? Thanks so much! The best thing here is to replace it. Chosen Solution I replaced my glass/digitizer on my iPad Air2, reinstalled my original home button but after 2 days the home button failed again. I opened it up again and removed the home button bracket and looked it over and reinstalled it. worked fine for another three days then failed again. any suggestions? The adhesive seemed fine the first time, I added another strip of double sided tape to the bracket to make sure, but now its failed again....

Because SSDs have no moving parts, they consume much less power than platter hard disk drives, and dissipate much less heat. Because of this, you will not need any extra cooling for an SSD. Also, because the SSD has no moving parts, it produces no vibrations that might knock it off the adhesive tape....

Chosen Solution Hi The leather on the ear pads will soon fall off. Half off it is already loose. The leather is not damaged or anything. It is just getting loose on the sides. How can I fix it? Thanks @dinbab you need to replace the ear pads. The leather is tearing of the plastic part that connects to the headphone. When you remove the pads you will notice that the leather is bend over and attache to the back of the plastic....

Chosen Solution Hello, My fan switch only works on high so I know it is not the motor but probably the switch. But I do not know how to remove the dash cover to get to the switch. Do I have to take the entire dashboard off? Or is there a simplier way to access the switch. This would help me to replace the lighter plug that has not worked for 10 years....
