Chosen Solution Macs Fan Control temps are all normal ( 35-40˚C) but the right fan is stuck at 8800~ rpm when it should have been 6864 rpm at max. I did try reinserting and cleaning all the cables connected to the logic board as well as resetting the SMC but the problem persists. Apple diagnostics show an error of PPF03, meaning a fan data control line might be the cause. Does anyone know where that data line is?...

Chosen Solution help please I just remembered I forgot to disconnect the battery when unplugging and replugging the screen I am now scared I have sorted a connector please could you help me @hellomacos or anyone else please help me Hi @justfixit1 Just as we discussed before,it’s not something to worry about now as the display you were plugging in was already damaged :-) When you saw the display bleeding ,that was the start of the end of that display and it was also smashed(bleeding can cause the display not to turn on) So would worry about it right now as we are yet to replace your display and that will give us a better indication of if there’s a problem People make this mistake all the time (some device like the iPod touch have soldered on battery’s so you can remove them) And as @imicrosoldering said the iPhone 8 is quite forgiving when it comes to things like this So I wouldn’t worry about it :-) If you need any more help just ask Thanks:-)...

Chosen Solution I have a SM-G900H which took some water damage (toddler dropped it in the bathtub for a few seconds), despite that IP 67 rating. It worked for a few seconds while I dried it and removed the battery. After a couple of hours drying out, I tried to turn it on. It gave a “low battery temperature” warning and a “SIM not reconized, rebooting” warning, and I instantly removed the battery (I supposed it was not completely dry yet) and shoved it in a rice bag for 48 hours....

The assistance said that there is an error in the electronics. Any suggestions rather than getting rid it of my poor Nespresso? @leoborni see if it is stuck in descale mode. Press both green lights for 3 secs and it should flashing at a slower rate. When they stop flashing it should be good to go....

Chosen Solution Brother poured water on his Macbook Pro and immediately plugged it in and booted it successfully, hasn’t turned on since. I’m assuming it’s completely fried at this point. I noticed that it has an NVME drive in the teardown, would it be possible to take this drive and adapt it to a regular M.2 slot to boot MacOS to my PC? I’m assuming there’s some kind of restriction there with MacOS, but even just taking the drive and using it as storage would be an improvement over my SATA SSD....
