Chosen Solution Here’s the long story on the phone: Six months ago, gf broke the screen. I ordered a new one (not from here) and replaced it… no problems everything worked including the fingerprint scanner and the home button. Over time, the fingerprint scanner stopped working. She dropped the phone and broke the screen again. She used it with the cracked screen for a while. During this time, the home button started getting flakey, having to press it multiple times to get it to work....

Chosen Solution I replaced my screen and LCD and beforehand my home button worked perfectly fine but now it is unresponsive. Do I have to order a new home button and replace that as well or can I make the current one work? I cannot just use assisted touch because I am trading my phone up and they will only take it if my home button is working correctly. The way the home button on the iPhone 5 connects is via two gold circle contact pads that are located on the small cable that comes off the home button and sticks to the display....

Chosen Solution Want to go back to ios 6 Interface parallax can be turned off in Accessibility settings to reduce the possibility of inducing vertigo. iOS 6 for iPhone 5s does not exist. Apple has shut down the iOS signing servers for iOS 6. Unless you have a hacked iPhone, it is impossible to revert to iOS 6. However, I agree with @ tomchai. I think the ‘Parallax’ wallpaper feature may be a cause of the vertigo....

Chosen Solution So I have 3 droid x2s here with different problems. One has a bad mic, one is completely dead, and one is stuck on the boot logo and will not go into recovery. How could I fix them? Plug the power adapter into the Tablet With the adapter plugged in, Hold down the power button for 20 seconds Disconnect the power adapter from the Tablet and press the power button for 20 seconds. Chosen Solution I’m looking to replace the headphone jack in my Late 2013 15 inch Retina Display. I don’t see that you carry it for this model. I see you have it for the mid 2012 to early 2013, but not late 2013. Will that part work for this model, or do you have another for it? The eyes are the first to go ;-) TIA In general, yes; all replacement LCD’s will be covered by a protective film. Some are “perfect fit” so they’re hard to see. Take a look with a magnifying lens…that’s what I have to do every day ;>).

Chosen Solution So i purchased a working phone from a co worker. Screen was messed up, but the phone had power. When i tried to do a screen replacement i noticed the phone had wet spots near the speaker (lower bottom right). I read online if you drop the phone in alcohol that it can help the phone from building corrosion when it dried, so i did that and now the phone wont power on, after letting it dry....

The headphone port on top of the phone collected lint and fibers from my clothing like your jeans pocket. The lint got in between the contacts of the headphone terminals so it was open circuit so the sound was cut off. Just remove back cover unscrew headphone port clean inside with tooth pic using the pic to remove as much lint and fibers as possible the spray some electronic contact cleaner into hole flooding it so it pours out....
