I plugged it into my charger, and the charge light won’t even blink, just nothing. I checked the F1 fuses on the motherboard and the power board, and they are intact. Chosen Solution I easily replaced my broken exhaust fan. (the old one had two small broken plastic pieces causing the fan to still work but it rattled). The new fan now spins ALL the time, regardless of the laptop temperature. It starts spinning at 2000 rpm as soon at it turns on. From a dead cold position. This causes a low annoying hum. I tried resetting both the SMC and PRAM but the problem persists....

However the LCD Connector + Cable on the Screen is blown. It seems that the 2 connectors are identical. Is it possible to replace the Connector on the LCD or is the LCD probably bad from this? Chosen Solution Freezer on top Frigidaire Gallery. Fridge is not cold, freezer is cool but not freezing. Compressor is working, coils on back of fridge are clean, no condensor fan on this fridge, evaporator fan runs (continuously), tube starting evaporator coils gets frozen over, evaporator coils are not covered in ice or even frost - they are cool but not icy cold. Hi @dawnpv , The pipe into the evaporator getting frozen is not a good sign....
Chosen Solution So I purchased a screen from iFixit to fix my old one. Everything worked fine for about the first 12 hours then suddenly it started experiencing pretty bad ghost touch about once every 10 minutes. I removed the screen and cleaned the contacts on the motherboard and display then reseated it to have the same problem in another 12 hours. Would this be a problem with the display or am I installing something wrong....
Chosen Solution When doing a clean up of my desktop hardware I accidently put the quad core processor in the wrong way and bent many pins. I have an extra dual core processor that will work. What will I need to do to make sure my system runs smoothly? Just make sure it is put in correctly and it should work fine. Try to bend back the old CPU pins to see if they will go back into place....

What temperature should I use? @daleslaughter 80 to 100 degree Celsius is the temperature used to separate the glass from the LCD. To remove the complete assembly you will need a consistent heat across the whole area. At about 110/120 degrees Fahrenheit the adhesive becomes much more pliable than at normal temperature, but it is not an exact science (unless you use a hot plate or a rework station)....

The home button works fine, with the exception of the haptic feedback being a bit finicky (rattle vs the intended vibration) but the Touch ID and, “rest to open” features are non existent. There’s absolutely no damage here to the home button cable. I did the repair personally so I know it’s the original home button, plus there’s no error message at all....

I have to pop it in and out or blow on the cartridge’s contacts with an air compressor. Sometimes I just try to wiggle it out a bit. This is a bad idea since this manual contains the wattage information. If you happened to toss out the manual, the manufacturer’s website should have this information listed online. GE also lists the microwave wattages of some of its older models on its website....
