No. You could change the logic board, and upload the data, either through the cloud of iTunes. And you really can’t swap the nand, the flash memory alone....
Chosen Solution I was trying to help out a friend with a cracked screen, and after about 10 minutes of tinkering I thought to check the model number on the scrap iPhone that I was using for parts- turns out that the old model was a 3G and the new one is a 3GS, which don’t have compatible screen/LCD assemblies. I was trying to put the 1 2 and 3 connections back together with the ’new’ (non-cracked) screen, and I’m afraid I damaged a connection somewhere....
Chosen Solution Attached is a picture of the display screen for a Brookstone clock. A ribbon cable was attached to the black pads shown in the picture apparently by either electrical conducting glue or something in the ribbon cable covering works as glue when heated? The second part of the question is I see not electrical leads from the pads into the screen. How does such a system work? Look at it vary carefully with the light at different angles and you should see very faint almost completely transparent conducting tracks....
Chosen Solution Hi y’all! Last night I replaced the battery of my 2012 Retina MacBook Pro 15". After the new battery was in and the casing was screwed back I turned the MacBook on. Everything worked fine (few!). Just like the repair manual said, I didn’t plug the charger in and let the battery drain while I used it. At the end of the night, when the battery was empty and the computer turned off, I plugged the charger in and went to bed....

They sell parts and create guides so that you can do your own repairs. Even this forum is manned by volunteers. Some of us are repair professionals. Personally I do Macintosh computers. Chosen Solution I have a 5S, which goes haywire and the screen freezes intermittently. Ghost touches galore! Chosen Solution I have a Toshiba Satellite C850 with a wrecked screen and I am trying to find out if i cant place my Toshiba Satellite C650D lcd screen in the C850 I presume it’s the same physical size and resolution. If the native resolution is different it’s unlikely to work. The next issue is whether the LVDS data cable will fit. You may be able to get an idea if you can find disassembly guides or videos for the two models which include views of the screen disassembled....

But now i dropped it again off my desk and now the screen was frozen so i force powered it off and turned it back on but this screen didn’t come on. Chosen Solution Power goes. On Lights go on Beeps. But drum doesn’t turn @cpoclen unplug the unit from the outlet and let it sit for awhile. Then try again. Keeping it unplugged should reset it. After that you want to try to run the diagnostics code as outlined in here HE3 Techsheet. Let us know what you find so we can assist you further.
Chosen Solution After installing a fan per the guide here, I’m given error code 2162-0002 after boot. The fan works fine now but efforts to solve the problem after 2-3 hours haven’t worked. Update: Ribbon Cable in game cartridge slot wasn’t connected all the way.

Chosen Solution A lost hard drive after W-10 conversion from Windows 7 almost FORCED on a replacement. Now I would like to simply re-equip this Toshiba Satellite C675D-7101 w/ a bit larger and quicker IDE so I can use more RAM once I establish a new start. I closed the lid t0o hard on the laptop in question and it quit working! No more recognizing the HD! You will see a slight performance increase in the opening of documents or opening of programs, but you may just need to go with a 5400 RPM drive. Yes, it will run just fine with a 7200 drive. Chosen Solution So, I have replaced shattered screen, but it seems like I have teared the socket off the cable while moving the home button on accident. The button surprisingly works, but there is now a notification about not working Touch ID. Considering it working more or less before and I kept the button for that reason I’m want to replace the cable, but the only replacements I could find which I can buy in my country are for 6 Plus and as I am new to repairing phones I’m not sure the difference between two when it comes to stuff like these parts....
