Chosen Solution MacBook Pro 13" Early 2010 I’ve acquired this laptop from a friend, I had intentions of upgrading the memory but can’t seem to get it to work. Here’s my problem in detail: I get the question mark folder when I turn the laptop on, I’ve tried to load into OS X Utilities many times and it takes me straight to internet recovery options (pic Below). Chosen Solution My mac is getting old and slow, so I thought I’d give it an update. I bought 2x4GB Corsair macmemory and a Samsung evo 850 SSD. I formatted the drive and downloaded OS X El Capitan (since it is what I have running on my old HDD). Then I installed the OS on the SSD through the USB port using a Sata-USB, and it booted like a charm. Next I switched the SSD for my internal HDD and tried to boot, that’s when I came into trouble....

Chosen Solution Hey i have a small dent on my Macbook pro 2019 on the top edge and the left edge of the screen backlid/backplate (where the logo is). I was trying to get it replaced and i was wondering how i can go about doing it since theres no way of fixing the dent on the aluminium. The dent does not affect the screen. i was wondering if its easy to buy a spare part and replace it myself or will it be better to go to apple repairs if so how much will it cost for such a minor damage?...

Chosen Solution Device stops playing for second approx. and then continue. I checked the HDD in service mode - no reallocks and pending sectors were found. Is the damaged headphone jack could be the reason? I checked the hold button also - it’s OK too. Actually i’m using my ipod with portamp thru line-out, so this is why i haven’t replaced dead jack with new one. I don’t think you are quite there yet, no reason to replace it already:) Try to format your drive and reinstall your music....

(FYI:The refrigerator is 4 years old) When the repair tech made the switch he also replaced the evaporators which he stated go bad when there are problems with the compressor. Yesterday I found out from a different tech at the same company that the replacement compressor was faulty and has leaked out its oil....

Chosen Solution I have looked under the hood, under the dash (as best I can) and cannot find it! I bought a new unit and the dealer’s parts diagram shows that it should be under the hood but it is not there! I gave up! Too big to squeeze under the steering wheel. Took it to the dealer. Played the old man card and they didn’t charge me for installing it....

Chosen Solution The two sims are not working simultaneously. When one sim is on the other sim displays no service. Hi, Have you proved that both SIM cards work and also that both SIM card slots work? Chosen Solution Hi, I’m having some real issues with my phone at the moment. I’ve just done a screen replacement and just as i thought all was finally fixed, i went onto the camera. It first appeared to work fine (this being the back facing camera) however when switching to the front facing camera the shutter doesn’t open at all. Chosen Solution I’m trying to replace the front panel of my iPhone 3g but the glass is shattered all around the home button so the suction cup cant get a grip at all. Is there another way to get the phone open? Would maybe some glue help hold it together long enough to open it up? one tiny suggestion as a future reference - i opened a few 3g and never used a suction cap to do that....

Chosen Solution After dropping my iphone the screen is dim all the time. I can’t set it to be bright. I have tried calibrating it but it doesn’t help. I have even tried replacing the LCD and that doesn’t help either. Does anyone know if there is a specific cable that can be broken? Or is it maybe the motherboard? Grateful for all tips! Chosen Solution I lost my administrators password of my iMac, I was away for almost 2 months and can’t remember the password. Now I can’t install anything!! I did try and re-install OS X with my install disc but it always gets stuck right after the restart and option. Did try with the USB also and nothing. When it’s stuck the USB’s activity light is off and the disc does not sound like it’s turning....
