Chosen Solution My wife’s iPhone 6 is having some issues with the Home Button. Currently, when pressed, nothing happens. The Touch ID is not working as well. The screen is fine and no water damage. After reviewing a lot of the questions surrounding the Home Button, it looks like if I replace it the Touch ID won’t work and there is a possibility of the Error Code: 53. I’ve seen some answers say to replace the Home Button and the Flex Cable, some just say Flex Cable, then some have said to replace the LCD Shield Plate w/ Sticker & Home Cable....

Your best bet (as with many compact camera repairs) is probably to find another one of the same model on eBay, advertised as “spares or repair” but with a body in reasonably good condition....

Chosen Solution Do I need a new battery? I just purchased a brand new in the box iPod shuffle 1st generation 512mb. When I plugged it into an outlet with a wall adapter that I use for my other iPods, it flashed a couple times and then nothing. Chosen Solution After a battery replacement, everything seemed to be working until about a minute into powering the phone back on when I got a Touch ID not working alert. Upond dissasembly a found a completely torn ribbon cable from the display screen. I have circled the ribbon in the photo attached. The shorter cable that I circled has ripped off. I am assuming this is the reason the touch ID is not working....

Chosen Solution I noticed that on the old mid frame chassis, there are gold square contact points for the motherboard and the new mid frame does not have them. Are they necessary for functionality? The midframe consists of some plastic and antenna circuitry which required as it acts as an antenna for the phone....

Chosen Solution Dear All. After flashing my phone to the factory reset as you both advised me at the beginning. I wanted to update my phone to the new ROM. I reset my phone to the factory restore, got the update from the web: Atrix Firmwares Superthread (Official Firmware Team of M3) - xda-developers used the RSD to update it, when I started uploading the phone start restarting many times and RSD send a massege to manually turn off, i did take the battery out and in after that nothing happen....

Chosen Solution Machine capable of draining a 18’ necklace with charm through drain system @kieralenelle it is possible. It is also possible that it is stuck in the drain pump. I would suggest that for now you do not use the washer. Since you did not give us the complete model number of your washer, use this generic video to get to the pump. Try to find your necklace in there....

There aren’t any capacitor/resitor on the cable, it looks exactly like that one: The manufacturer label says “SU”. The originals should looks more like this (and should read “HK”), right? Chosen Solution I am having paper jams, i pick up the printer and heard a rattle sound. and a spring fell out. but the paper still jams, There are springs that drive the feed wheels, each set of wheels (could be a plastic rod with with rubber wheel looking things) each rod should have a pair of springs, find one with one spring and put the other back on.

I recently came across an older Macbook Pro that I wanted to upgrade the SSD/RAM and tighten the screen for my little sister. I made the mistake of going off memory and managed to cause the exposed part of this wire to split. I wanted to know if anyone knew what this connector does specifically? I am under the impression I could solder the wire together and back to the metal bracket that goes on the hinge screw, but wanted a second opinion before I go that route....

Chosen Solution My first instinct is that it is just a defective part. Because the parts are fairly cheap and the repair not too delicate or time-intensive, I recommend giving it a shot. If you’re having any other problems with the camera, proximity sensor, etc then I would definitely blame the part. That being said, while you’re doing the repair you might also want to make sure that the glue on the screen for the microphone actually has an open hole in it for the sound to get through....

Chosen Solution Ok, I phone 6, took a bath in the tub, dried it out, did not power up. soaked it in rubbing alcohol, let it dry 2 few days and when plugged in, the only thing that would come on was the camera light would power up and stays on, nothing else would power up. I put a new battery in it, but nothing has changed. Please help be with what part I need to change....
