Chosen Solution iMac 27 A1312 ECM 2429 I purchased an iMac 27 2011 not working. Was told that it wouldn’t turn on so they purchased a new iMac and had Apple take out the HHD. I replaced the HHD and power supply and ran the LED test. #1 lights up only. Do I need a new logic board and is it worth it for that iMac? My iMac is a mid 2007 and thought this would be an upgrade because its a 2011....
Chosen Solution I just ordered new screen for my iphone 6, i will be keeping my home button, do i need glue for seal if i re use seal? No need for glue. What I do is bend the middle of metal bracket that has two screws behind the home button a bit so that the little metal circle is closer to the home button. Only need to do this if the home button feels dipped in / deep / loose when clicking it)....

Yes, if they replace the display, the Touch ID button has to be replaced as well, they must have a way to reprogram it. From what I know, they will replace the display assembly (the entire front half of the phone) altogether if: the display is broken, the top sensors does not work, the receiver still does not work after replacing just the receiver, Home button/Touch ID does not work....
Chosen Solution try to raise handle to engage blades but will not move , mower runs but blades will not engage Is the blade engaged by magnetic switch or by belt clutch. If its by magnetic switch check to see that there’s power getting to the switch . If its engaged by belts check to see if the belt is moving when you move the lever or if the lever mechanism is broke ....
Chosen Solution I have a 2013 MacBook Air 13" and there was some water spilled on it. I took the computer completely apart and cleaned it with Isopropyl Alcohol. The computer turns on but the fan starts immediately and the systems performance is very slow. I tried an SMC reset by removing the battery and following the necessary steps but nothing changed. I am thinking that maybe the SMC chip still has water damage....
Chosen Solution Since yesterday, my iMac (A1419 EMC 2806) fan has been maxing out from power up, regardless of safe mode, recovery mode, or booting into Windows (via Boot Camp). Diagnostics return error PFM006 Assuming a thermal sensor defect, I installed iStats to check the thermal sensors. Readout below in the screenshot - all temperatures are within normal ranges, the fan is at maximum and also won’t slow down if I try to do that manually, and the only temperature that’s missing is the one from the power supply unit (AC/DC T2 secondary heat sink)....
Chosen Solution when i use my imac then fan never runs atuomaticaly even though the top is burning but it works with smcfan control how do i make it run automaticaly? Do an SMC reset. Unplug the power cord and let it sit for a few minutes. How can you tell that the fans are running at all? These machines idle very quiet. Chosen Solution Got an iphone 6s+ water damaged, screen is black. When hooked up working screen and turned it on bypassing power button, got to the pass code screen. When use the power button, no reaction. Troubleshooting results revealed the DZ4710 is bad (in pieces) and needs to be replaced along with couple of other components in the same area. The diode identified as DZ4710, on the iphone 6s+ schematic, would anyone know the true part name for it....

Chosen Solution I changed the fan but forgot to put back the small plate stuck to it. How bad is it if I don’t put it back in place ? (I’m lazy and it works atm) Based on the information provided, the little plate is most likely a heatsink, in which case you might have slightly worse performance (5-10%), but you’ll most likely be fine. Either way, if you have time, I would recommend fixing it, and just putting the part back where it goes....

I have a Samsung 55” TV (UN55ES6150) which made a popping noise and shut down. I opened it, and found that the 250V/5A ceramic fuse on the power supply board (BN44-00503A) was blown. I replaced it, but the new fuse blew the moment the set was plugged in, so the fuse blowing was not a fluke....

Chosen Solution My Hard drive stopped working. It is making some clicking sound. It is getting power and header is also not stuck. I have attached a video. You’ve opened the drive, so dust and other particles are now on the platter and will cause further damage to your data. Chosen Solution Turn the phone off and on via power button slide to turn off (this alone should get it working). If that does not work then try resetting network settings, update iPhone via iTunes. Otherwise unplug battery after turning off and plug it in again and plug in home button cable, whichever is more convenient for you. Just make sure after replugging the battery that the home button cable is plugged in before you turn the iPhone on....
Chosen Solution I just replaced a screen for an indivdual on his 6s, everything went well. Aside for the home button being stuck and unable to press in. I had this issue on a phone I bought of a friend and it turned out the little metal dot on the bracket had broken off and i used a new home button bracket and it fixed the problem. I figured this may of been my isssue but the home button bracket looked fine, took the home button of his phone a couple times to see if i could figure it out and no luck, i ended up putting the screen on still and just turning on assistive touch for him....
Chosen Solution I have read the teardown tutorial. But I just want to change to case.Can I change the case of Switch and Joycon without completely tear it down and How to ? Unfortunately, no you can’t change it without tearing it completely down. You would need to remove all of the parts and put them into the new case. Sorry for the bad news.
Chosen Solution how can i change my charging port on my nexus 6 ??? arthur1870, it is soldered to your motherboard. You will have to disassemble your phone, desolder the old one and then resolder a new connector.Not an easy task since the contacts on the port as very small. Unless of course you have the tools and skills to do that. Use these guides to work on your phone....
Chosen Solution I cannot turn on the WiFi on my iPhone 4S. But every time I remove the back cover, the WiFi works. When I put the cover back on, within a couple of days the WiFi is greyed out again! I cannot see anything wrong with the iPhone. If the WiFi only works when the cover is off, then it suggests a physical problem.The back cover is either warping the contacts or preventing the signal from getting through....
