Chosen Solution Replaced screen and battery in 6s. Phone powers on with black display but will sometimes quickly flash on then off if phone is touched or moved. What now? This will most likely be a backlight problem. There are two filters near the LCD connector I would say one of them has been nudged. You will have to get it looked at by a microsolderer.

However, the next morning, after half an hour of working on it, the laptop freezed and I could not start it anymore. Chosen Solution First ripped off the latch, then broke the latch trying to put back on. Tried soldering ribbon cable to remaining prongs with no success, melting the connector. Removed the connector and ripped off the pads trying to clean the melted plastic off. Board is now clean but missing 3 of 4 pads and replacing the connector is out of the question I believe. I would like to solder wires from the ribbon cable to points on the motherboard bypassing the connector/pads....

I just put in a new logic board (bought from here) and now when I connect it to my iTunes it will eject itself for now reason but then it won’t turn off. It just stays on the “do not disconnect” icon and I have to wait for the battery to die before I can do anything with it....

Chosen Solution I have a GE profile performance (SN:RZ211108 MODEL #:TFX26PPDA WW) side by side from 2000ish. The condensor fan and evaporator fan are working and I just cleaned the dirt off the coils underneath in the back. Not enough time has passed for me to know if this fixed the issue, but it seems to not have worked (hour or so after). It was fine since I moved in a month ago, it would super freeze/cool anything....
Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery with a fresh one and now the entire front assembly accept the screen and home button won’t work. I’ve done a few hard resets and reconnected the cables and it still won’t work. These cables are super easy to irritate with minor twisting. Try turning off your phone, disconnecting your battery, disconnecting and reconnecting the sensor (after ensuring the male/female ports are clean) and then reconnecting the battery and powering on....

Chosen Solution After a lightning storm last year, I lost my ethernet connection. Now I have to use a USB to ethernet converter. This model has ethernet integrated into the motherboard. Repairing the onboard ethernet requires component level troubleshooting that is beyond what the average user can do. A USB to ethernet dongle (Like you have) is one option. The other is to add a Airport wireless card. So there a few ways to keep the machine usable, unfortunately repairing the jack is not one of them....

Chosen Solution I just got the speaker and it works well. I wonder if it needs to be paired with my cell phone every time I use it. I hope it can remember my cell phone after the first connection. Your speaker does not necessarily need to be repaired each time the speaker is powered on. If you hold down the power off button for 3 seconds, your speaker will remember the last device it was connected to....
