Chosen Solution Just saw there is an ifixit home button for 7/7+ that says it works as a replacement but doesn’t have Touch ID. Been a while since we’ve looked at home button replacement because they never worked. The ones sold here claim to function as a home button but won’t work for Touch ID wish is fine. Anyone else have experience with these parts? Are they plug and play or some funky Bluetooth concoction or other Frankenstein deal like all the ones from like a year or so ago?...

Chosen Solution I buy now (november 2014)the model 21.5 2.9 mhz, with 8 GB RAM, the guide is EMC 2638 or EMC 2805? So in the future if i want upgrade memory is it possible? Chosen Solution Hi folks! I have a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with Retina display (A1398, EMC 2512) that experienced some liquid damage. A small amount of juice got into the MacBook and completely burned out pin 1 on the internal DisplayPort connector, which I identified as the backlight power pin. (The data pins still worked and the computer still booted up fine, but the backlight was completely gone.) I was able to install a new connector but ran into some troubles....

Chosen Solution Hi guys. I did look to see if anyone had had this issue with an iPhone 6 before the other thread i think they were referring to a 6S. OK i have just had a phone come in for a screen repair their child had smashed it off a wall & the screen was shattered but also the home button had been torn off too. I have replaced the screen but any home button it try gets so hot you can’t touch it i have tried both genuine recycled from other iPhone 6 & i have also tried aftermarket brand new ones all with same result....

Chosen Solution i took my ds in to have the shell replaced a few years back, and when they gave it back to me the home button was not working anymore; i took it back to them and was told they would call me when its done. fast forward 2 months and they hadnt done anything with it n basically told me i was s.o.l. i have a feeling something is just loose or not connected correctly....

Chosen Solution The pads go in through the sides and I can’t pull them out for replacement. There’s no visible way of opening the housing either. Does anyone know how to replace the ear pads on this headphone? Turns out it requires squeezing from the sides to unhook the clips. Here’s the clip: There are 5: They are hooked to the body: Be careful not to break the plastic clips. These protrude from a plastic ring that’s actually not part of the pad, but glued to it....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a galaxy s7 edge. The phone restarted while it was plugged into charger and then it stuck on the boot screen with samsung logo with a blue flashing light. It was the second time this was happening but this time it didn’t boot up. Although I have to mention that the phone was nearly out of storage. I installed onto a 2018 MacBook Pro 13” A1989 touch bar, screen works but is dim and not bright enough, does this mean 2017 screen is not compatible with 2018? Sorry the screens are not compatible, Apple altered it in the 2018/19 models. Chosen Solution I put paper in the document feeder but it does not work. Nothing happens Paper does not feed Sounds like the pinch rollers in the paper feed need a bit of cleaning. Overtime the paper dust clogs the pores of the rubber making them slick so they loose tractor. Some 80% isopropyl alcohol with a cotton swab (Q-Tip) should allow you to clean off the buildup off the roller wheels....

Chosen Solution My eMac stopped booting yesterday and when I try holding cmd+s at start-up fsck -fy says the volume appears to be ok. When I boot with sh /etc/rc, It goes until it gets stuck on ‘SystemStarter[67] : Waiting for Apache web server’. I don’t know what this means, can I fix it?
