Chosen Solution Ok so my Xbox 360 Slim just started having this problem when I turn it on it immediately powers off. It does this when I hit the power or eject button. The power brick show an orange light when off but then turns green for about a second when I try to turn if on. It seems like it might be a problem with the flexible power ribbon but I’m not sure....
Chosen Solution I have taken apart my MBpro TB and found that 2 or 3 gold connectors have corroded on the flex cable connecting the display to the motherboard. Not the separate display mobo but the cable coming from the motherboard. That is connected to underside and display assembly. After cleaning MacBook out i tried reversing the connection to rule out screen being faulty. Nothing. Anyone have a spare flex cable?...
Chosen Solution Okay, so I’ll start from the beginning. Just got my iPhone a month ago, had a life proof case. I went into a pool with it (stupid me) it got wet. It worked for around 2 days after and then my touchscreen stopped working. I did a restore and it started working again but failed a couple minutes later. The only thing that gets me confused is how the display is perfectly fine yet my touchscreen doesn’t work, I feel as though there is a way to fix it but I haven’t found anything on the web about it....
Chosen Solution Dropped in water, I did the rice thing, my phones works perfect but has white lines. Can I take it apart? And clean something @tgc let’s start off by telling you that the rice thing does not work. It does not do anything but provide you with a false sense of security. It is an absolute waste of time and good rice. I suggest you treat it just like any other water damaged device....
Chosen Solution After taking days of fantastic photos in Iceland I took my camera out of my jacket pocket and found the lens partially open and when I try to turn the camera on it displays “lens error” and will not open. @lmrdwr823 coomon issue with digital cameras. Check for some suggestions on here. If those do not help you may have to consider replacing the lens. Nikon does not like to part with their service manuals or parts list so this may be the easiest way....

A question for your question… Has your port exhibited this behaviour since new, or is this a recent development? Edit Since this problem started after you purchased the machine, it was most likely caused by something getting into the port, or by a physical deformity of the case or connector housing itself....
Chosen Solution This morning I noticed my LED flasher was on. Started the camera, still set in HDR mode, manually turning on the flasher and turning it off again did not resolve the issue. Started an app called Free Flash(turns your flasher into a torch), only difference I noticed toggling it was a change in brightness, but the led remained on. Turned my phone OFF, completely… and STILL the led was on....

Chosen Solution It’s that simple. Freezer is cold but fridge is not. Adjusting temp doesn’t seem to matter. The flap between the two is open but air not circulating into fridge. The Evaporator Coils are Frosted Over If the freezer is cold but the refrigerator is warm and the evaporator coils are frosted over, there may be a defrost system problem. Several times a day the defrost heater assembly turns on for a few minutes to melt away any frost or ice that may have accumulated on the evaporator coils....
Chosen Solution I discovered how to open the body and remove and replace parts on my MacBook Pro. Laptop is cursed with the common “random shutting on and off” defect. The charger cable is good. Successfully charges this Mac and others. Has anyone succeeded in repairing this all to common issue? How did you do it? What part(s) do I need to fix mine too? BTW I am happy to share how to open the body for anyone who wants to know....
Chosen Solution How do I fix my Sanyo fvd48p4 it has sound but no picture @aimee45 could be a power board issue. First you want to check to see if it is your backlight that is out. turn the TV on in a darkened room, then shine a flashlight against the screen and see if you can make out any images etc. Make sure that you are either on a station that has images or that you are on a menu page....
Chosen Solution OK, so, here’s a bit of an interesting problem. I have a 13” MacBook Pro 2009, that’s had light fluid spill. Starts up, but got really hot around the area where the charger plugs into the machine (not the area where the battery is). I thought it might be the charging port, so I cleaned that out, and am somewhat afraid I might have cleaned it too well, as I’m not sure the bare metal is supposed to be showing (see picture below)....
Chosen Solution Hi, It says that I have to heat up the iopener in 60sec but it does not get as warm as needed… I can almost hold it in my hand without it is to hot… can I warm it in 2-3 min so that get useable? My microwave works great… I thought the same thing about 60 seconds not really warming it much so I put it in for 2 minutes and it did not go so well....

Chosen Solution Schematics for this Macbook have various numbers, such as K24 and J30. I have done quite a bit of research, but have not figured out which schematic is correct. What am I missing? @terrycts check for the number as outlined in the attached image. Going by the model you listed as device, your board should be a 820-2936
Chosen Solution I checked this site and found others had a similar problem so I followed the recommended solution. I ordered a new click wheel from ifixit and replaced it. No luck. Still have the same problem. The replacement wheel did not solve the problem. What are next steps? The phones screen is smashed (but still on the phone just lots and lots of cracks) and the bottom of the phone where you would connect the charger, is snapped upwards (so it is still attached but bent up)....
