If I press down the connector to the motherboard the fan works, but my question is could i glue it to the motherboard? And If I would, I would save 40 bucks but I’m not sure whether the glue could damage the motherboard itself When you press down the metal contacts are completed thus enabling electrical flow....

Chosen Solution I have killed the fan connector pads on the logic board (2012, 13”). Where on the logic board can I make the four connections for the fan? Update (11/17/2018) Thanks for the reply Dan. This is a picture of a logic board with the connector in place . This is a picture of my defective board. . I am thinking that I could make the four connections elsewhere. As far as I can determine, reading from left to right, the connections are GND, PWM, TACH, 5V....

See if you can move the tire by grabbing the top and bottom of the tire and push in at top and out at the bottom and then back and forth ....

Flip the keyboard over so you can see the back panel. Look on the side of the edge where the back panel and the top panel meet. Slowly pop the back panel off so you DO NOT break the keyboard flex cable connector....

Chosen Solution It doesn’t matter how many pairs of ear buds/headphones i use the left one will never work when i plug it into my 3ds The most likely cause of this problem is a loose headphone jack inside the console. This is a fairly common problem. The solder is not strong enough on the headphone jack and causes a loose connection. This is a fairly easy fix if you have some soldering skills....

This is very annoying because I have to get the phone back and replace the screen, again,for free. One of two things has probably happened . Chosen Solution iMac 27" EM2309 I installed the SSD optical drive kit in my 2009 27" iMac with Core i5 processor. The SSD is a Samsung EVO 850. Worked amazingly for a few months. I used the SSD for the OS. Unfortunately, now I am getting intermittent crashes which are bad crashes - the whole systems freezes and is unresponsive. Chosen Solution Drill does not do anything when plugged in, I would like to replace all of the inside parts but don’t know where to get them. live4jesus6 use this guide and test the power cord as well as the trigger switch to see if it has power. If you have never done that, let us know. I wouldn’t want you to get zapped by the 110V . If it does have power and if the trigger works, move on to this guide and check the motor winding as well as the brushes....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone 6s plus in about 2 inches of water charging port/headphone jack submerged for about an hour (best guess time wise). It worked for the next day and then that evening when I went to charge it, it wouldn’t charge. It recognizes the cable when it’s being plugged in but won’t ever charge past 1%. Once the device turns on it stays on for about 30 seconds then powers off again to the red battery screen....

Chosen Solution I wanna know that if it is a good idea to put the motherboard into a oven to fix rrod? Honam1021, whatever will work for you :) Personally, I would not. It is hard to control and may or may not work. I myself would prefer the method shown here. It does give you more control and will only reflow the area needed. Again, to answer if it is a good idea or bad idea, depends on your capabilities, skills and if it works....

Chosen Solution Dell has a hardware lock, but I have forgotten the password for my login. Does anyone know how to bypass this? This sounds like a BIOS password to me. You are going to have to remove the CMOS battery or find the BIOS/ATMEL chip to remove the password. There’s going to be 3 ways you can do this. The first one is just to remove the CMOS battery, which will work on most pre 2010 laptops....
