Chosen Solution Straight to it then: The micro USB to USB power port on my CM Storm Trigger snapped off. The contacts with the board still look fine but I’m not sure how to reattach it. How did this happen? I moved and didn’t have a desk. It fell off my bed and landed just right so that the cable was forced back up into the keyboard housing, snapping the micro USB port from the PCB....

Chosen Solution I obtained a Macbook Pro 13 unibody with non functioning display (everything else works). I took it apart ad discovered that the LVDS cable end was completely destroyed. I ordered a replacement display assembly (complete with LVDS cable). I now have an image but no backlight. Upon close examination of the components surrounding the LVDS connector I notice I have a component missing compared to a detailed photo of the same motherboard that I found on the net....

Hi @David Chance , Without the model number can only guess that your model may have two evaporator units, one in the refrigerator compartment and one in the freezer compartment to cool each compartment separately rather than having just the one in the freezer compartment which sends the cold air to the refrigerator compartment so usually it is warm refrigerator and normal freezer, not the other way around if there is a cooling problem....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I replaced the logic board of my iPhone XS Max and now the front-facing camera is not working. I understand that, after replacing the logic board, only FaceID will not work. However, I have never heard that the front-facing camera will not work as well. In this case, do I have to replace the front-facing camera as well? I can agree that the face-ID will not work but I couldn’t imaging the front facing camera fully not working if you have another camera try and swap it to see if that makes a difference or try your camera in another XS Max if the camera works in another phone you have a issue with the logic board, but if a new camera works in your phone then it is just the camera that is damaged....

Chosen Solution I charged my phone to 100% from 0%, and when I unplugged it and powered it on, it died instantly. Why is it doing this? it also dies at high percentages all the time(20%-90%). Well seeing as the S6 is now a 5 year old device, it’s probably time for a new battery. You should be able to order a kit on ifixit and do the repair yourself or take it to a local independent shop....
