Chosen Solution I’m trying to help my sister-in-law by upgrading RAM and adding an SSD to her late 2009 21.5" iMac. I have successfully managed this in my own machine and created a Fusion Drive. I installed 4x4gb RAM that match specs of machine and then installed Sierra to the computer. I ran into problems booting the machine after that (never successfully made it into Sierra). Now, the machine boots endlessly, progress bar makes it about 3/4 of the way through then it reboots....

Chosen Solution Hi, I removed a broken screen, I removed the HOME button as described in the repair guide. The issue I have now is the home button cable connector. Where do I connect this on an ifixit screen? There does not seem to be a connector for it on the new screen. Did you transfer the back Metal plate that has the home button extension cable on it? Some replacement screens do not come with the metal plate with home button extension cable depending on if you bought the ‘full assembly’ or just the screen....
Chosen Solution I nicked the membrane over the home button, and I think that is the reason now why finger prints are not getting read. I tried to re-record my finger print, but the phone says that I am not covering the sensor completely with my finger. Can you get a replacement somewhere?
