Chosen Solution I bought the iPad Air Front Glass/Digitizer Touch Panel Full Assembly kit. The screen glass is shattered and the touch screen does not work. How do I know if I need to replace the LCD as well? I’m asking because when I was searching for the guide, I saw a separate guide for LCD replacement. Update (10/09/2018) Here is an image of my iPad. I’m just not sure what additional parts I now need to order if I have already bought the Front Glass/Digitizer Touch Panel Full Assembly kit assuming I also still need this kit....

Chosen Solution I started the computer and the screen seems to have spot light like dark lines that go across it - from bottom, about 1 inch in hight.The rest of display is OK.These dark lines are spread from one bottom corner to the other bottom corner, like this: http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/apple-n… only difference is that in my case they are not spread trough whole display,just at the bottom. It’s the screen itself....

Chosen Solution I have made a huge mistake!!!! I tried plugging in a internal hard drive into my Intel Mac. Unfortunately, it was the wrong connection. When I plugged it in my screen turned off. I turned off my computer and tried starting it. When I do I see could hear the fans turn on and it feels like my Mac is running but nothing shows on my screen. I looked over my mouse and there is no indication that it’s getting power also....

Chosen Solution Okay to elaborate, basically this phone (Samsung Galaxy S 3 neo) has no grip and it slipped out of my hands and fell. NoWe the screen is very badly cracked (Only the top half) luckily it’s a very new phone and I still have the protector screen on so everything remains in place I’m too worried to turn it on in case I short it out or something due to it being dropped on its head....

Chosen Solution Ok, I’m new to the repair realm(<1 year) but have repaired Iphones, ipods, laptops, Android phones, xbox 360, PS3, PSP, and (my personal arch nemesis) the Nintendo DSL. Nothing gives me problems like the Nintendo DSL. Tonight I soldered in two slot 1 game cards into two separate DSL’s. I used a weller soldering iron, flux, all that jazz. No pads were harmed in the process- everything went smooth, my soldering was clean and there are no shorts that I can see with my eye loop, but now the games will not show when inserted after start up....

Chosen Solution 2003 Grand Am will not start. Turns over but won’t start. Check in the engine compartment fuse box, it should be near the battery under the hood. The cover should be pretty easy to remove. The fuel pump should be connected through a fuse in slot 48. If that fuse looks good, then you may want to check the fuel pump relay (also inside the engine compartment fuse box)....

Chosen Solution Bought a new screen for my 12.9 iPad-Pro. Replacement went smoothly, no issues… But when I got it booted back up and used it, I now have a Ghost-touch problem… the iPad responds to touch interactions when no-one is touching it. Removed and re-installed twice now, making sure all connections are properly connected, and all potential shorts are covered with polyamide tape. Still didn’t solve it.. Erased all content and settings, set up as new iPad… Same symptoms… Suggestions?...

Chosen Solution My camera has been on, I’ve been using it. But for some reason the screen keeps turning off. I know my batteries are powered. Power saving mode may be activated. When the power saving mode is activated, the LCD screen will turn off after a certain amount of inactivity. Use the on-screen menus to disable power saving mode. Chosen Solution I accidentally dropped food crumbs in the spaces inside my ihome im60. So I was wondering how to access the diaphragm of the speaker so I could clean it out. Based off the picture I found a repair guide you could use if it doesn’t work let me know and I will find another. Chosen Solution how do I change the number of rings? Hi @ n.marous, In standby mode go to Menu > Answering Setup > Ring Time and select either 2, 4 or 6 rings. Here is an auto download link to the D1788-2T User manual which may be of some help. Scroll to p.18 This is only possible with Uniden phone versions that come with the Answering Machine Function. The Phone version you have listed here is a D1760-2 which does not have an answering machine function....

Chosen Solution I dropped it and it split wide open and I put it back together but the power button wont respond I fixed it i went to ifixit.com and bought a rear panel for my 1st generation iPod Touch thats how you fix the power button on it

Is it my charging port or my battery. @ksfuller , Kaleb Fuller , It could possibly be defective battery/charger or cable/charger port and some forums state it could even be a software issue fixed by doing a factory reset. Check your charge port for dust/lint/debri and check for damage contacts or loose fitting port(pick out lint with tooth pick carefully or blow out with compressed air)....

The charging port needs to be fixed. @klunker you can download the maintenance and service guide from here On your computer, the DC-in jack is a separate piece. It is HP part number 608273-001. The manual will show you how to replace it on page 77 I dont see the exact process for charging port, but here is the steps to get it open and I’m sure you’ll see the port assembly to be able to replace it....

It is a bit awkward but at least you can do things like backup your phone etc before anything else happens to it....
