Chosen Solution My Kenmore HE3 Electric Dryer (Model 110-82836100) suddenly stopped working. Everything appears normal but when you press the start button all you hear is a beep and a loud click near the control module. I have checked the thermal fuse and thermistor and both are within tolerance. I have checked the 220 power and the machine is receiving the normal voltage. I have run the machine through the test diagnostics and there are no error codes and all of the LED lights are working as indicated....

Chosen Solution For some reason my MacBook Pro–15" model 1286–won’t eject the store-bought DVD I put in it today. The DVD is not showing up on the finder and it’s not spinning. I’ve tried restarting several times holding down the mouse button and trackpad–a force eject that I read about online. I’ve also gone into Terminal and typed “drutil eject” and that didn’t work, but I’m not sure If I’m utilizing Terminal correctly....

Chosen Solution No foreign obstacle in the machine so must be a mechanical fault - all the website says is see a service engineer but the local one will not even look at it and just wants to sell me something else. Seems a shame to throw it out and just buy a new one so any suggestions please Hi, If there is no obvious reason that the carriage is being jammed, it may be that the waste ink tank is full....

Chosen Solution We replaced the battery that died and also bought ad tested a brand new charger. All are fine. Batteries hooked up correctly. The cart won’t turn on, the battery charger doesn’t show it’s charging and the head lights don’t come on. Any ideas the_leonards you did not tell us if you checked the batteries with a tester to see if they do have to proper voltage If they do but your cart shows no sign of life you can try and test the power going to the motor controller....

Chosen Solution The fan on my Macbook Core 2 Duo is constantly running, often at 6200rpm. The temperature of the CPUs is around 63C (~145F), Temperature on both heatsinks is a little below that. I’ve done an SMC reset several times (as per http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 ) which sometimes seems to help a little, but never for long. Wondering if it’s time to replace thermal paste or even the fan itself? Thanks...

Chosen Solution Is the FPC connector socket interchangeable with a different model? Which FPC connector are you referring to? I’ll assume you are referring to the digitizer FPC as that is the one that fails the most. Apple does a great job in using different connectors almost all of the time ;>). They use different types and genders on virtually every generation of device, with only a few exceptions. The mini digitizer FPC is used on the mini, mini 2 and mini 3 but no other FPC used through out their product lineup is the same....

Chosen Solution Mac Pro Dual 2.0 GHz 3GB RAM 320 HD This one has had me busy for a couple of days. Came in with three blinking lights on the power button and kernel panic on start up. After testing for an hour it would not boot at all. The machine had two 1 GB sticks and four 256 sticks. After extensive testing I found all the sticks were fried. Replaced RAM with two good 256 sticks of my own....

Chosen Solution Hi! I changed the backhousing on my iphone 5s to limegreen and now it seems im having a GPS issue. It will just spin and saying located and the blue arrow fades to grey. Chosen Solution Hello fellows! I just bought a XFX HD 7850 2GB (bricked) and I’m cant find the problem. I’ve bought knowing the problem, hoping to fix it. I put the card in and started the computer, and it goes well into windows (seven) and I installed the drivers via catalyst. Then it asks to restart the computer and after that it got with artifacts in the login screen and after i’m logged in the screen turn grey with vertical lines....

Chosen Solution The volume button on the top of my screen is greyed out. When I use the buttons on my keyboard the volume doesn’t move up or down and there is a crossed out circle under the popup. I have tried doing a PRAM reset, restarting my computer, and looking at the settings. The sound completely works when there is headphones in and there is a red light in the headphones jack....

Chosen Solution Hi mate. After I replace the lcd, the bottom area of screen are hard to touch, not sensitive. Before I assemble with metal plate lcd, all area can be touch smoothly including the bottom part. But after I assemble all parts like home button, home button bracket, metal plate & so on, the bottom part of screen are not sensitive. Any solutions for this problem? Thanks a lot...

Chosen Solution Need to ask if anybody knows the impedance rating of each of the eight (8) one (1) inch speakers on the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II? Is it 4 Ohms or 8 Ohms? Looked every where without success and good grief even Harmon Kardon don’t even know!! If anybody also knows a good source to replace them please share that info. Chosen Solution Hi my laptop won’t load my window what can I do it keeps sayin automatica repair fail then bring me to this blue screen and I tired everything in the troubleshooting screen nothing works please help Microsoft’s automatic repair rarely works. Better and faster to just re-install, with the save data/files option. Old installation will be saved into Old Windows folder. Re-install apps after successful install.

Update (02/16/2019) My MacBook 12” is completely functional except the trackpad. Would I only have to replace the track pad and the trackpad flex ribbon cable? You can buy a replacement trackpad for your laptop and follow this guide to replace it....

I inspected the logic board and see that this component seems crushed, like its snapped in half: Does anyone know where to get a replacement for this component? Would this component being damaged cause no power condition? Thanks for any help. The damaged component is FL5201_RF. It is not connected to a power rail so I doubt it is the cause of the failure....

Chosen Solution I had dropped and cracked the screen on my iPhone 6S, and being a repair tech, I thought no problem. Unfortunately the home button doesn’t work after the replacement. The button will click, but only registers every now and then. Touch id still works, and a replacement home button works (minus touch id). I tried bending the back plate to make better contact, another screen to make sure the connecting flex is fine, and checking the home button’s flex under a microscope to find any tears (none visible)....

Chosen Solution Hi all , im having a bit of trouble with getting the home button assembly back on a new screen of this ipad mini 4 i have here . I fitted a new gasket with the home button ok but the bracket i cant seem to align it so the home button clicks , the home button does still click out of the frame , but im not sure if it’s because the tape i stuck the bracket back on with is not strong enough as it does flex a bit ....

Chosen Solution My Nikon D5200 when open, an error appears on the monitor and it says Press shutter release button again. When you click the shutter botton the mirror inside is not functioning well as in a normal way as in… its running halfway or not in full swing. I notice it last time that I cover a birthday party I had a low-bat situation so I charge the battery and during the charging it happens there’s a brown out so the power went off then a few seconds the power goes back from a power generator and maybe 15 mins....
