Chosen Solution I turned the dial of the GE dts18icsarww thermostat timer and it entered into defrost mode but the heater did not come on. Once the 30 minute cycle was complete, the condenser and fan came back on but ice did not melt. Do I need to just replace heater or could there be something else I need to replace as well? Chosen Solution Just changed the battery in an iPod that was not responding and would not charge. Since making the change the iPod will transiently respond to pressing the keys by showing the Apple logo and the hard drive spins, then clicks. Chosen Solution Hello! I am running Macbook Pro (Late 2011) on Sierra osX. First I repartitioned my HD into single partition(I had Bootcamp). After that I went to encrypt my HD using FileVault and it got stuck for days at around 60%. I think the problem might be something with repartitioning the HD but I see others have problem with encryption as well. I decided to reformat my HD to make a clean install(I have backed up the system with Time machine) after Disk Utility have failed to repair the disk....

Chosen Solution Three days ago grey horizontal lines appeared on my Thunderbolt display. After a few minutes they disappeared only to appear again after a while. Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro model A1278 2.3 GHz i5 mounts a 320Gb Hitachi hard drive as you know. During my last scan with Drive Genius, it showed I had more than 900 bad or suspect block at 1% of scan. The mac has been backed up fine with time machine and I haven’t encounter yet in any corrupted files. However, I know it would only get worse. Should I replace my hard drive, and if yes, can I upgrade to a 7200 RPM or should I replace it with a 5400 RPM....
