Chosen Solution Does anyone know what the thin strip gasket does that is held in place by two of the three screws that holds down the earpiece speaker bracket.Can I do without this gasket? Any help would be much appreciated. Gasket is not required you can use the phone without it.

Chosen Solution As the title states, my SCPH-5501’s PSU board and controller interface went vamoose. The power supply was faulted when I was attempting to diagnose a possible power output failure and my meter probe slipped, shorting pins 7 and 8 on IC101 while power was still being applied to the board. Chosen Solution I have an iphone 6 64GB that has a bad battery drainage issue, did a complete reinstall of the OS and apps, did an online Diagnostic with an Apple rep and he said that I most likely have a Hardware issue. Apple charges $300 for an out of warranty Hardware issue. Suggestions? It seems to me that the Apple Diagnostics would normally catch a bad battery. Chosen Solution i received a mac mini with no signs of life. there is no visual damage on the logicboard. i removed the logic board and found some markings on the board. testpoints at the following parts on the bottom side are marked “pink”: U6400, U6410, U9500. those areas/parts are marked “blue”: the circuits between R9537/C9522 and C9525/R9540, the printed text of L4732/R4732/R4733. on the top side is only one “red” marking on C9521....
