If it is just the hinge that is broken (I’m assuming that’s what you mean by ‘broken in half’), then you will need to replace the center housing. It’s a difficult process for a beginner, and can cause problems with the system if done incorrectly. Chosen Solution I have the Delonghi Eco310 (vingage Icona) Espresso Coffee Machine. This morning I let it heat up as always, then pressed the button for coffee to fill up my cup. I think the connector cable that came with the ifixit kit may be too short or too long (depending on if I route it between or above the second hd.) I can force it to connect if I route the connector cable between the drives, however can’t seem to line the antenna plate afterwards or close the machine up....
