Chosen Solution I am working on a friends 27inch iMac. When I looked at it in detail today, I found out that the hard drive is failing. Since the hard drive is going bad, the Apple menu is unaccessible and I cannot find the model number to purchase the appropriate hard drive. My friend told me that he thinks it is a 2010 model but he’s not sure. Chosen Solution While changing the battery on my Garmin Nuvi 680, the most internal cable disconnected from its connector and I don’t know if the connector lifts vertically, slides out or is soldered to the motherboard. Chosen Solution I have a Panasonic Viera TC-L42U25 and we get a random audio problem with HDMI connected devices. The audio will become distorted with a weird reverb effect. We started experiencing this when watching our Roku and I switched HDMI ports, but that did not help. I later replaced the HDMI cable and that didn’t help. The only thing I’ve found that fixes it is going to Roku settings and switching the video mode from 720 to 1080 (or vice versa), so I figured the problem is with my Roku....

Chosen Solution Did I break a pice of my hard drive? I was working on my hard drive and I was pressing on the bottom of the drive hard to get it in to place. Chosen Solution Hi until today I had not used my dishwasher for nearly a year. It was working when I last used it. However today when I ran a wash, it fills up fine but after a while stops running and just shows specific lights flashing. The water does not drain and it remains at the bottom. Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 6, I get a distorted sound out of the speaker. It works and is usable but just sounds bad sometimes. Earpiece speaker is fine; everything else OK. I replaced speaker hardware and same problem; so problem is not the actual speaker hardware. I checked accessibility settings and that is not the cause; filter from speaker to outside is clean. Chosen Solution Seeing as the logic board contains a separate chip for RAM (the Samsung K3RG1G1), is it not hypothetically possible to desolder the existing RAM and replace it with a higher capacity chip? It sounds like a cheap way to pull slight more performance from the device. Forgive me if I’m missing something important that makes the answer obvious. RAM are highly likely to be custom packages made for this specific model, so compatible chips with bigger capacity simply don’t exist....

Try searching for Dell 357F9 to find suppliers of the battery. This part number should also be on the battery in your laptop if you wish to verify that it is compatible or not. It is used in a lot of Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series laptops....

Chosen Solution Hi, I was wondering if the logic board had the same 2 little square heat sinks that are on the late 2011 model? The reason I ask is because I am up grading my logic board and bought the 2 black heat sinks but I have no holes in the logic board to screw them in to. Chosen Solution I have an 2001 Ford F150 XLT with the extended cab, not the model with full size rear doors, but the smaller half door. Both of the door mechanisms don’t work anymore. I would like to fix them but don’t want to pay what the dealer is asking for the replacements ($165 +/-). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Chosen Solution I found my son’s iPod Touch in the washer machine after the machine had completed it’s full cycle…..needless to say, it was submerged at least part of the time. I dried it off as well as I could (wrapped it in a cloth towel and placed it over a low volume heating device for several hours). All evidence of moisture under the glass screen was then gone. Barry, the wipers are controlled from the central control unit which is located above the passengers feet. The “relay” is an internal part as the unit is a computer that controls plenty of things including the wipers. The fuse for the windscreen wiper is F4 and is a 20A fuse in the passenger fusebox...
