Chosen Solution My laptop has bad overheating issues at the HDD because it’s constantly running at Max load. I need a 16 GB expresscard SSD which would be just enough for Ubuntu. Does anyone know of a good source for a SSD under $30? I’ll never use my expresscard slot anyway, so this may put it to use. It’s a 54/34mm slot. Or an adapter solution. Chosen Solution I opened up my imac to see why it was not powering on. When I disassembled the heatsinks, I found that the GPU heatsink is black from under. Does it mean that the GPU is burned out is the reason for it not turning on whatsoever. That is a tell-tale sign the GPU chip has failed (shorted)
Chosen Solution Hello: I have an LG47LN5750 and while swapping out my Playstaion 4 with the Nintendo Wii u, the HDMI port was pushed into the casing of the TV. I then attempted to use HDMI 2 and the same thing happend. Luckily, HDMI 3 worked without incident. I have swapped out other components before so I am not sure if I wore out what holds the port in place or whatever....

The washing process is similar to hands; put soap everywhere; & either rinse or dunk (if you’re on the go). Chosen Solution I recently had a new battery put in my HTC One M8. Now when I plug in the charger the charge indicator light is flashing orange and the battery icon with the lightning bolt is displayed on the screen. Chosen Solution The fridge and freezer are not cooling at all. However the fan in the freezer is turning. Using a kill-a-watt, I can see that the fridge is using 60 watt (without the light). Which (I believe) is much lower than it should if the compressor would be working. Using a flat screw driver, I turn the defrost timer out of its cycle it will go to 2 watt and then back to its 60 watt....
Chosen Solution I have a two year old upright Frigidaire LFFH20F3QW that used to make a ‘sealing’ or ‘suction’ sound when closing, it stopped doing that in the last two days quite suddenly and we noticed items are not as ‘cold’ as they used to be. There also seems to be alot more frost inside where this never had frost before. It is ‘frost free’ with no drain. Chosen Solution I’ve replaced the HD with an SSD in my MBP. If the case is open, it boots up perfectly. Once I screw the case closed, I get the Folder with Question Mark and the drive cannot be found. please help! looks like the SATA cable is being pinched a little too much with the new drive. I rectified the problem with adding black friction tape doubled around the sata drive ribbon....

Chosen Solution The display screen on my MacBook has become extremely hard to move over the past few days. I checked the 6 hinge screws attached to the lower case and the 4 screws attached to the display’s frame, and they seem to be set properly. I’m thinking the issue is with the lubrication of the friction hinge, as it requires an equal amount of massive pressure to move it to any position, (I don’t have any way to gauge this pressure, but it is a lot more than what’s normally needed)....
