Chosen Solution I’ve got a H8E that boots when power button is pressed. Standby light will blink constantly once powered on. There doesn’t appear to be any pattern or specific number to the blinking, just blinking at same interval constantly. The “Hisense” logo shows up, then the “Hisense SmartTV” logo shows. Then after 30 or so seconds, screen goes black, though backlight appears to be on still. Tried leaving TV off and unplugged for a few days....

Chosen Solution I’m having trouble with my home button… Anyone know what the resistance across the button’s two leads should be? I measured 6.3k across with the button pushed down. And I’m suspecting that is the issue. Should the leads go to 0? I may have a problem on the doc side too. The reading across those leads is 47ohms. I thought this was a little low. I was able to isolate the weak short to the mother board....

Chosen Solution Home button no longer operating after I replaced battery. Can I replace it? or is there something else happening? Is the home button jammed? If yes attempt to reseat the home button and the iPad Digitizer / glass. Is it not working at all? Check if the two golden push pin connector points near the charging point are not damaged or bent. If you didn’t take the home button off the glass at all then I really doubt the home button itself is faulty....

Chosen Solution I have replaced the screen for my iPhone 5s never had a problem replacing screens before and the home button works when I turn the phone on to check before clicking all back into place but once it’s clicked into place it doesn’t work any help would be greatly appreciated ? You need to closely inspect the Home Button assembly and bracket to insure everything is in its proper place....

Chosen Solution I followed your instructions for replacing the glass digitizer on my EVO 4G. Everything went great but a day later I noticed what looked like a bubble in the center of the screen. The bubble kept growing with use. With a little investigation I realized it’s being caused by the digitizer touching the LCD. If I pry up the edge of the glass a little it pulls away from the LCD and the “bubble” goes away....

Chosen Solution so far i have restored nearly 15 times both in recovery mode and dfu mode but as it enters the installing software phase the phone shuts off and re enters recovery mode! any ideas will check this thread every 10 minuets Actually I managed to determine the issue lies in the front camera speaker assembly I disconnected them and the phone finished a restore and no longer suffered a boot loop....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 7 with a cracked screen otherwise fine (phone 1) and an iPhone 7 with a faulty cellular radio and an intact screen (phone 2). I would like to swap the screen assemblies so that phone 1 is fully functional. The repair video says that I have to transfer the Touch ID sensor from phone 1 to the screen assembly of phone 2 in order for Touch ID to work, but that seems like the most finicky part of the procedure....

Since you powered up after a long period of disuse, what probably happened is that the protection circuitry inside the battery itself probably drained it to the point where it won’t accept a charge. I recommend getting a replacement battery....

Bernzomatic silver bearing rosin core is plumbing solder, not electronic solder. You need to get either 63/37 of 60/40 (Tin/Lead). Both have their advantages and disadvantages. There are also different kinds of fluxes within these solders and wire diameters....

Chosen Solution I have a Lumix LX100 mirrorless that has dried condensation spots inside the the last lens of the objective. These spots can be seen on the photos taken at small apperture. Chosen Solution My drone drifts to the left every time I fly it. What could be wrong? That could be a problem with one of the motors or propellers. It could be that one of the motors is just a little more or less efficient than the others or that one has a little something wrapped around it. Either way it can probably be fixed by adjusting the trim settings with the trim button on the back of the motor....

Thanks @dmill I’d start with a new battery. While you work on it using this guide check the connector and the wiring. If it starts with a new battery you know what the issue is.

Chosen Solution Hello Everyone. I have recently purchased a Iphone 8GB 3G. The screen seems to have developed a fault. When switched on, its very dark, faint and can hardly see any of the icons. Although i have tried utube, sound works fine also the vibrate function works fine. Followed few of the hints on web forums of changing the brighness settings etc bt to no avail I have looked at few forums and cannot seem to fathom the cause or the solution....

Chosen Solution Network connection frequently goes out on my AppleTV 4 gen. using it over Ethernet. Tried to unplug to go to WiFi, still says it is connected to Ethernet. Reset, factory reset, nothing allows me to connect over WiFi, Ethernet connection goes out sometimes every 5 seconds. Not so bad on most apps but on Hulu every time the Ethernet goes out it pops up with a message that blocks out the whole screen....
