Chosen Solution My friend gave me their ds light, and now the battery is really low and its displaying in red. The replacement screen works, however my home button no longer functions. Normally I would believe that I damaged a ribbon cable or the like, however the touch ID function on the button still works. Chosen Solution I have a GE Spacemaker XL Microwave oven Model JVM1340WW 002 mfg. Oct.1996. The lower part of the handle broke away from the screw that attaches it to the door of the microwave oven. I tried gluing it with “Goop” but that didn’t last very long. The handle is still firmly attached by the upper screw, but I don’t know how long that will work. Hi there! I’ve been told that I will need to replace the entire top shell at a huge cost. Is there anyway that i can clean it without replacing the entire top shell? You can pop the individual keys off by carefully levering them from the left side. Give everything a thorough clean and reattach them....

Your rear microphone may be defective or clogged up. There is a small hole next to the rear camera, check to see if it is dirty. Otherwise, you may need to replace the microphone flex. I connected everything exactly the way it came off the old screen and am stumped as to why it isn’t working properly. Thoughts? When replacing the ear speaker, make sure the gold contact points on the flex cable match with the metal springs of the ear piece speaker. The holes of the flex cable should allign perfectly with the little plastic pins in the screen frame....
