I suggest that you no longer try to turn it on or try to charge it. Disassemble it using these guides. Properly clean it first with sterile water and a soft brush....

If you have an external HDD case you could try and see if it is accessible by another computer. You can also set you BIOS to use the optical drive as the first boot device and try to use a bootable CD, (I use Puppy Linux) and see if you can access the drive through that....

Chosen Solution My DVD Drive is stuck and it will not open not matter how many times I press the button. Is there a disk in it? It could be jamming the tray preventing it from opening all the way. Jiggle the tray in and out slightly and lightly with your hand to try and dislodge it. If all that doesn’t work you well just have to apply a little more force....

Chosen Solution Hello everybody. I have an iphone 7 128gb. I suspect the logic board being kaputt. Phone only reacts to charging when off. As soon as it boots, no charging. Battery constantly shows 1% even tho it has more. I tried replacing charging port - no help there. I replaced the battery - no help there. Do you think it is a faulty chip on the motherboard?
