Chosen Solution I was trying to repair the cracked hinge mechanism but when trying to open I broke off the power connector to the on/off switch. Not sure where to get the part or how to disassembly properly without damaging other connectors :/ So I managed to fix the problem by reconnecting the power button. I followed an online breakdown on YouTube which showed where the connector was and how to access it properly through the keyboard which I hadn’t noticed could be removed from the top....
Chosen Solution Computer will not power on. I have reset Pram, SMC. There is an amber light on the ac adapter. I did change the hard drive and added ram. It ran just fine. I shut down the computer, now it won’t power up. check the top case connection to the logic board. Try reseating the RAM. check dim slots ,ram and ,try reseating the btry ,and try dispose antistatic …also try and let btry be out for at least 5 minutes

I am not very handy with appliances, but I do notice that I no longer hear the ticking noise when adjusting the timer dial. So my common sense reaction is that the timer must have gone bad on the dryer. These are expensive to fix and with the age of the dryer I would likely be better off just getting something new....

LCD and touch ID works perfectly but 3D touch doesn´t works correctly, specially on sides of the screen. Does some one similar problem? It may just be due to a bad screen or a poor quality screen. Chosen Solution I tried reseating the cable. I tried a new cable. The camera and sensor are not being blocked by the screen, I make sure they can be seen through the holes. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on here? Also the earpiece speaker does work fine using both cables I have. I ended up tilting the MacBook, notch to open lid facing up towards the sky and all a sudden this very loud, awful sound starting coming from the body of the mac. It’s hard to describe but it sounded like very bad grinding, like the fan trying to crunch metal or something....
Chosen Solution I carbon copied the drive from my 2008 Aluminum Macbook to an external (wd my book for Mac). And also have time machine back up. Right after that despite no previous problems my original hard drive stopped working. Disk utility stated it was corrupt and unrepairable. I already had a new drive. Chosen Solution I had a battery replaced for my pixel 4 and applied 3m adhesive strip. I applied heat to the back when installing it and put some weight until the morning. Next day the top of the back cover came off. I was wondering was the heat unnecessary to apply the back? Or is the adhesive bad? I bought it off of eBay for “phone repairs” Usually 3M tape doesn’t do so hot for device repair....
Chosen Solution Heater working but only blows out front vents. No heat to feet or defrost. Before replacing Heater Control Unit, it would only blow hot air from front vents- With this replacement it will now change from cold to hot and the air flow pressure does change from the front vents when changing the setting dial but there is still no air at all to feet and defrost. Can anyone tell me if there is a louver or valve that could be jammed and where to locate it?...

Chosen Solution My i pod touch has rainbow colored lines on it and i think it may have been by a magnet and I cant get rid of it. gbscobel, your iPod Touch is very unlikely to have received any damage from a magnet. The LCD is not affected by magnetism. From what you describe it sounds more like a broken LCD. you may consider posting an image of what your screen looks like with your question....
Chosen Solution Originally, just while using my MacBook as usual, the screen just all of a sudden went completely black (with a thin white line at the bottom). The Apple store said that we would have to replace the LCD/LED screen. Thus, I had a family member replace the screen. So now, the screen lights up, but it is completely white and does not display the actual screen. The computer itself still works completely fine and everything is visible and workable when plugged into another monitor....
Chosen Solution My S10 charges very slowly with third-party cables, it happened suddenly 2 days ago and now my phone takes 5 hours to charge completely, I can use the fast charging only with well fitting cables like my mothers official xiaomi cable (it makes a click sound and is very sturdy).
