Chosen Solution I had a cracked screen so I ordered a new one and took the old on off and now need to attach the new one but I don’t know how to attach the wire. There’s a tiny little connection by the top left hand corner that the digitizer(touch part) plugs into. Chosen Solution Hoping someone can help me out here I have 4 x 18v li ion batteries 2 of which are 5 months old & 2 which are 8 months old. When at work the other day one of the batteries ran out so I put it on charge to discover my other 3 were also flat, after charging all 4 batteries until the charge complete light came ON I went to use them to find that they all went flat after about 5 seconds of pressing the trigger on the drill so I then tried these batteries in other cordless tools such as my impact driver with no luck....

Chosen Solution I just received my dads old ps2 and the disk drive will open, but when prompted to shut it does so, then opens back up. It does this twice then just stays open. i took it apart to clean it, and am hoping the problem will fix itself. Knowing it wont, what should i do? Chosen Solution Hi I was trying to replace the battery in my s6 g920 & when I tried to remove the display cable from the mobo the pin came off completely, what I mean it came off from the sloth from the back of the lcd. The cable is intact (Brownish looking cable). My question is: can i just put the cable back in the sloth (it has no lock pin in the sloth) and hook the cable pin to the mobo?...

Chosen Solution Tom tom 910 dose not switch on . Green light comes on when you press start button but goes off when released. Battery full and have tried reset without success.Thanks Mike. How did you try the reset ? pressing the reset switch with something that fits and the power button at the same time any response from the device? there is no reset switch on the toothbrush itself.

Chosen Solution After the first fix I came to the possible understanding that I may have not been thorough enough with the repair so I chose to do it again. With more determination and better attention to detail was more thorough but again the repair did not work. Chosen Solution I have done many repairs on several iPhones of all models and have always been able to solve the issues I run into but I have recently repaired an iPhone 6s Plus screen that went bad. I disconnected the battery like I always do before disconnecting the display on the phones and I then gently disconnected the old display and swapped out the camera to the new display and connected everything without an issue....

Chosen Solution Last week I took my phone into apple as my home button wasn’t working properly so they replaced the whole display and ever since that day apple pay will not work, when I had no problems with it before. It still comes up and will say ‘hold near reader’ but does not recognise that I am/nothing happens. Anyone else had this problem or know why? If you brought your phone to the Apple Store, I would return there and have them fix it under warranty....

Im cleaning and reapplying thermal pastes atm, and I got an strange guestion, I thought you at ifixit are propably the most qualified persons willing to answer this one. The heatsink has 2 heatpipes which seems to run trough both CPU and GPU contact areas. But I noticed when I stressed my CPU and fiddled with Fan operation, that only the Left side fins (if I remember correctly) got hot, and only left side fan blowed warm air....
