I asked them if the lines would spread, they told me no. You can use a Sim Card Ejector tool….Or a paperclip to insert into the tiny hole on the SIM card tray which will pop it out and then you can pull it the rest of the way out of the phone....

We are looking at a used one but don’t want to get stuck with one that is hard to repair. tmpryor looks like they are a bit harder to get than parts for more common models, but parts are available. Trick question would always be, which part will need to be replaced. If the price is right I would not hesitate....
