Chosen Solution Hello! So basically, I can’t plug in external speakers or headphones anymore, as the sound will only be heard from the left speaker, with a really heavy amount of distortion that makes it un-hearable. The sounds from the internal speaker, is still OK. I think the problem was because I plugged in a 30 watts amplifier, through the audio port, which now I know might have screwed the sound card on the logic board....

Chosen Solution My macbook pro was working fine, I left it charging overnight and went to turn it on and it wouldn’t boot up. It alternates between a black screen with just the disk drive sound, and freezing at the same point every time at about 5% on the boot loading bar. I’ve tried booting from an El Capitan flash drive and it does the same thing, freezing on the loading bar....

Chosen Solution The plastic black hinge plate on my Macbook Pro mid 2012 cracked. The hinge is still fully functional but the black plastic plate over it is cracked. I believe it is called the clutch cover from what I’ve searched and learned on this site. Does anyone have a link to the replacement part or a specific guide on the repair of such a thing? Does this specific part have a replacement for sale somewhere or would I have to replace the entire display or case assembly or something?...

Chosen Solution I’ve had this controller for 15 months and for the time I have owned it, I’ve never used the wireless because the Model 1697 controller only supports IR and USB connectivity. Because I don’t own the wireless receiver and these controllers get terrible alkaline battery life, I’ve always used mine over MicroUSB to avoid having to buy batteries on a regular basis. While this method works, I’ve been having a hard time finding a good MicroUSB cable that works well with this controller and doesn’t wear out quickly....

Chosen Solution I have an LG 55UF6450-UA. The bottom half of the screen appears fuzzy but when viewed closely, I notice that every other scan line seems to be grayed out. The top hallf of the screen is ok. Also, sometimes the bottom half of the screen will flicker. I tested this with the menu screen displayed and no external input connected. I was wondering if this might be the t-con board?...

Chosen Solution During installation of a new superdrive, I unplugged the 4 inverter cables from the display, once all put back together and on startup I get a fuzzy screen (like bad terrestrial tv signal). Once the mac has started up i can put it to sleep then wake again and the screen is back to normal. Could this be the inverter? why is it ok after sleep? Thanks sorted it know - just reset PRAM

Chosen Solution Our GE dishwasher will not turn on. After checking several things, we tested the fuse embedded into the mounting bracket of the control board and it’s dead. Need to replace thermal fuse, but can’t find the part anywhere and its not on any schematic! Need help. I don’t find a fuse for this model either. Please post a couple of pictures of what you believe to be a fuse....

Chosen Solution After trying all the other home button solutions for 7/7 pluses and 8/8 pluses and being really disappointed, we were curious if anyone has tried this yet. It’s a non bluetooth solution and appears to not need the charge port replaced as well. Claims to be plug and play. Chosen Solution When a heavier load is in the machine stops and an HF code appears in the beginning or middle of the wash cycle. The only way to clear has been to pause and reshift the load inside. Sometimes this does not clear it and need to just go into rinse and drain mode. The “F/H” fault code will display if water is not detected entering the machine. If water is in the washer before the start of cycle, make sure it can drain it out....

Continued using it - carefully. Chosen Solution I own a Dell G3 15 3590 Laptop purchased in January 2020 with 1 year warranty. The right hinge however has fallen apart. Well, the plastic holding the screws that secured hinge to the display has fallen apart. After speaking with dell the warranty does not cover “Cosmetic” issues like that apparently. I am not inexperienced in personal electronics repair and I am able to replace the whole display but, y’know....

And once i put my original homebutton into the new screen, the homebutton feels very loose, and i can actually see inside the phone if i press it on the bottom or top. I’m glad you came to our page for help. Changing the batteries is fairly simple and easily done yourself. You just need a small Phillips screwdriver and some patience. Chosen Solution My dads old original nintendo gameboy was in storage for 15+ years with batteries in it and the batteries leaked into the main board and hardened over that time period. I was wondering if there was any chance of saving it and how to get it off. Chosen Solution I used to have the bad habit of carrying my MacBook Pro around by the right edge of the display. As a result the right side of the display can now be moved up and down a fraction of an inch and the hinge is getting looser and looser by the week. Does this sound like a problem that would be fixed with a new display or does it seem like the problem is with the body?...
