Chosen Solution I’ve got a Acer Chromebook 14 that I’m doing a screen replacement on. The power button was known to not work before the repair. The customer had simply been opening the lid to ‘turn it on’. I disconnected the battery before doing the repair, and now I can’t get the Chromebook to power-on again when opening the lid. I’m assuming it was in sleep mode before, but disconnecting the battery did a hard shutdown....

Chosen Solution My Dell XPS L502 is shutting down randomly, firstly i thought it was a windows issue as i have upgraded to Windows 10, then while reverting it back to Windows 7 and after removing the windows from laptop i cant reinstall it, as during the boot-loading the laptop is unexpectedly shutting down. it might be the adapter, but im using the original adapter, batter is down so it is used as a desktop, meaning its always connected to a power adapter when in use; i did opened it and closed the laptop and might have in the process damaged some screws as i am getting a light shock when touching the device....

Chosen Solution So, i was replacing the LCD on my iPhone 4, everything was going well ‘til i tried to pry the digitizer flex cable out, as i pry it out, the connector got ripped from the flex cable and is now stuck in the socket, any suggestions? thanks so much! You’re gonna need someone with microsoldering experience to replace that LCD connector. If you don’t care about what’s on the phone then I wouldn’t worry about it....

Chosen Solution Wondering if there is an order to attaching the front panel sensor assembly connector, the OLED panel connector, and, the digitizer cable connector when installing a new display on an iPhone X? Does it matter what order these are attached? No order required in electrical sense, except you always disconnect power first, apply power last.

Chosen Solution Hello. My Nuvi 2595LMT will not turn on. I suspect the fan, since when i put my ear, close to the fan, i can’t hear it spinn. Just a “bussing” sound. When connect the USB to the car or computer, it says on the screen: GARMIN - loading maps and then turn of. I don’t think there is a fan inside. Perhaps the sound you hear is coming from the speaker....

Chosen Solution I have an original Gameboy but the battery springs are corroded. If you want to clean the corroded spring, you could dip a cotton swab in isopropyl and rub it on the spring, it could help a bit. But I’d recommend buying new battery terminals, depending on which contact is corroded you’ll have to do a little bit of desoldering, as there are 2 contacts in the upper part of the battery case which are soldered to the gameboy’s circuit....

Chosen Solution how do I fix this please this is my best tv @sukhmandeep sorry but you cannot repair it. It will require a new LCD display since the one in your TV is obviously broken. You will need to remove the back from your TV and take a look a t the label attached to the panel. Get the model number from there and do an online search to see if a panel is available and it may cost you more than a new TV....

No software will work for that. You do have to try and repair the phone at least for as long as it takes to remove the files....

Chosen Solution I’ve opened up a late 2012 iMac to replace the stock HDD with a Samsung Evo SSD. The computer was up and running and I restored everything etc. But after removing the old adhesive and putting on the new double sided adhesive tape from iFixit, the screen feel off, not one but 2x (I used new adhesive each time and removed most of the old adhesive as well). Is there any trick to get the display to bond with the iMac frame/desktop itself?...
