Hi @kate12 Try using the aux input to see if it only a BT problem or whether it is a BT and a possible speaker hardware problem. In any event even if it is only faulty when using BT as you have tried a reset which didn’t work and given that you’ve only had it for 6 months I suggest that you consult the manufacturer’s warranty information that came with the documentation for the speaker (or find it online) as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair, replacement or refund....

Chosen Solution why home buttom ddoesn’t work at all? You cannot “replace” the Home Button as it is paired with the logic board and only the original will work. You can put a low-cost button but that will just “fill the hole” but it will not function at all. There is the JC Home Button that simulates the “click” function but it is not available on the iFixit store. Chosen Solution So this is the problem: i threw my phone on the ground and stepped on it (my temper is not the best). the screen is shattered at the top, so much that the little bits of glass are falling out so NOW i decided to put the case back on. Because there’s not a massive risk in the price, do you think it’d be possible to replace the Wifi IC successfully or is it a difficult task that I should let a specialist do? Chosen Solution This is on a late 2009 iMac 27" A1312. Was replacing the ODD. When I put it back together there is no display at all. It chimes and boots, I got into it via Screen Sharing with my laptop. I am currently backing it up. Checked all cables and temp sensors, they appear fine though the Vsync cable is looking a little worn. My main question, since the display is completely dark, no faint image, no lED bars, nothing at all on screen, does it sound like a power supply problem, or if the connector on the logic board right over the video card is boo booed, and not letting any video signal in to the monitor will it prevent startup of the lcd itself....

Chosen Solution my phone screen got a bit cracked few months back… though there is no lag in performance in any sort, how ever i would like to confirm that s7 comes with ip68 features… so will minor crack on screen effect the ip68 feature??? and what would be the cost in INR if i wish to get the screen replaced. It depends on how bad the crack is, it will after water resistance as it’ll allow water to seep into the phone....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery which was really shot. New battery showed good charge and charged to 100% one time. After that, battery is discharging but green light shows on charger connecter and battery icon in menu bar shows ‘charging’. SMC and PRAM resets seem to have no effect. ?? Sounds like board repair required. Most likely charging ic requires attention… Maybe your computer doesn’t recognize the new battery but your cable does…....

Chosen Solution Hi, I dropped my extrenal HDD to floor yesterday and since then it stopped working. It is a 1TB seagates HDD. I checked the blue light which is suppose to be stable but since the drop it is blinking. I tried to connect it with my desktop still the same. Tried to change the cable and it is still the same. When i connect the HDD to PC i hear USB connection sound on PC, it appears on Device manager then within seconds it disappears....

Chosen Solution the Black ring heating coil on the bottom of the dishwasher tub(circular heating element) actually burnt in one spot and it burnt in half. I replaced the heating element with a new one around 30 dollars but the dishwasher will not heat the water or dry dishes after replacing it. I feel something else caused the element to actually burn in two but im not dure of what it is....

Chosen Solution I had my iPhone 5s front panel assembly replaced because of glass damage and now the home button rocks in it’s place. Seems like there may be a gasket or seal missing now. I have done a ton of googling and I can’t seem to visually identify what might be missing from the home button assembly. @efb115,Erik, Home button rocks.
